I think it was indeed a very high dose. need to look it up.
Just as with heroine, the tolerance of fentanyl becomes high with long term users.
A dose that could kill 2 non using people might be barely noticeable for a long term junk.
George Floyd had also 5.6 ng/mL norfentanyl in his blood.

Edit: Afaik he wasn't on meth/weed when he died but the blood results showed he had been doing meth/weed a few days before.
Edit2 : In the webm you can clearly see that George Floyd drops a small white package from his left hand when he sits down against the wall.

It might be that he wanted to get rid of his fentanyl when he saw the cops and quickly swallowed some of it. But that's just speculation.
