I was there yesterday and today since I'm close and the parks by my work.

It's dull. A big nothing burger other than a bunch of people gathered, occassinally listening to a megaphone.

I want to bring this back up from the other thread because all these tents with the supplies are gone now and what tents I did bother to walk by were sad looking dismal affairs closer to the pity garden.

What I still find confusing is tear gas isn’t working - they have other aerosols that will knock you out. Saw a couple dozen rode up Pike towards the direction of the police station a few hours ago. Interestingly enough, some people cheered for them.

Chaz was set up with the agreement of the city. The mayor, who's a boomer Karen, thinks it's awesome. I think the plan will be make it into a permanent tourist attraction, like Christiana. The only fly in the ointment is that we're not dealing with 1960's hippies, who for all their faults had a small amount of work ethic. These are millennial hipsters, they've never done an honest days work in their entire lives and are so autistic just the thought of taking responsibility or being accountable for real world outcomes sends them into a spaz seizure.
