Bull. Pastoralism has historically been a key component to agriculture as it happens where growing crops is unsuitable. Most of the western US has this type of rangeland. Including where these morons are trying to plant a garden.

It's all eat-the-bug propaganda. It's been going on for decades and people just repeat this crap without actually doing research for themselves on what are the actual practices.

Having ice is a good idea in general if you are going to be storing foodstuffs. What I want to know is where these people get off specifying "the good kind" of ice, unless it is some coded language that I am not hip to. If you're going to beg, you don't get to make demands about the quality of what you get.

And if as someone mentioned they are requesting dry ice, well they really need to be specific. Storage is different, handling is different, and one is a fair amount more dangerous than the other. But then again these are people who don't really care about the meaning of words or the nature of reality at large.

They're saying they want ice, the solidified form of water, and not ICE, the Immigrations & Customs Enforcement federal agency. "Abolish ICE" was the lefty chant before "abolish police", because Cheeto Hitler threw brown babies headfirst into cages.

Anyway, in the last 24 -
  • Some police came back to the precinct for a bit to evaluate the building, which pissed off most people in CHAZ. It sounds like Raz may have been talking to the police chief (not confirmed if it was Raz, but they had an escort).
  • Some other cops tried to also come in, but were blocked after the second batch got through (CHAZians Voltroned with the barricade to temporarily form a super barricade impenetrable to 5-0).
  • The CHAZians promptly surrounded the building and were split between boarding it up with the cops in it and just leaving them alone because it could be a trap ("it's a trap!" people won that argument).
  • A second plot of farmland was established, slightly less shitty than the first. The second one at least has drainage and some of the plants might still have their roots intact.
  • Some idiots separated a mother duck from her ducklings, condemning them to certain death. They may have made McDucklets out of them (probably not though).
  • They were scared/are still a bit scared the cops might be retaking the precinct as soon as they let their guard down.
  • The ACABier "revolutionaries" want to burn the precinct down, and allegedly a few have tried but been scared off by Warlord Raz's war parties.
  • A call to bring in fire extinguishers has been sent out (with some being delivered). Tents have been moved in front of the precinct to protect it from pyro-lutionaries.
  • There's growing resentment and distrust of the glorious Warlord, since he won't let the pyros burn the place down and they can't understand how/why there's rules and authority in their anarcho-communist utopia. They're convinced he's an infiltrator.

This is what you get when you raise "participation trophy" squared generation. These kids never had to achieve anything substantial on their own, and they were praised for every tiny effort or just for showing up. Nobody presented them with a real challenge, nobody gave him any negative feedback, not to "damage their self-esteem". They didn't learn their own limitations and weaknesses. They don't understand how long it takes and how much patience it requires to build a skill. Maybe they somewhat understand it about things like coding, because they wrote "Hello world!" and anything harder was not working, but gardening seems to be such a menial task, so they thought any moron can do it.
Well, congrats, you made your first "Hello World!" garden...
