Because on a lot of websites (Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, etc) Brits will assert, every time the subject of gun-related deaths comes up, that "we don't have these problems because we don't have guns/they're much harder to get". It's actual people from the UK giving the impression that it's nigh impossible to get a gun.
Those people are retards. We "Don't have those issues" (we do have gun violence issues, anyone that says otherwise is a liar or a moron,) because the way we respond to criminals with firearms is by kicking their door in at 3am and killing them. If we think you have committed a firearm crime our armed response unit will generally just gun you down; if you don't use a firearm then you get the kiddy gloves. But the main stop gap between the guns and getting them seems to be people just not knowing you can get them, and a lack of a desire to get them. It's not expensive to own a firearm in the UK; I picked up my first bolt action (a Winchester model 69) for £70, a quick check on the shop I use to get my shit from has about twenty of them on there right now with an average price of £20-30 because of the influx.
In terms of the 'boogaloo' guns that Americans seem to like dickwaving, we had a 'boogaloo' in Ireland, and the sniper tactics they developed there were refined in the field by using them on soldiers pretty dammed effectively. They demonstrated that you don't need some massive fuck off cannon with a starlight scope and your matte finish with the ultra sling or whatever. They used easy to maintain, fairly quiet guns and relied on vantage points, surprise and local knowledge to pick off soldiers and the police. They would hang firearms with coat hangers down drains, and store them in pieces taped to the insides of cars. If a man has you dialed in with pretty much any firearm and you don't see him and he wants to kill you then you're going to die. The IRA demonstrated that; the book 'fry the brain' is a really good study into that shit. Probably not, since the declawing method leverages the 'horror' of white history as a bludgeon and uses the non whites living in our countries as something akin to living lightning rods of 'Look upon the non white and feel shame!'
