I’m not sure what Nick is trying to pull here; either they’re trying to retcon SpongeBob’s sexuality or trying to use Stephen’s use of the word asexual as a means to include SpongeBob into the alphabet soup.
Either way, it’s not at all what Hillenburg intended and it is further proof that Nick has no qualms about whoring the series out now that he’s dead. And the worst part? People will eat it right up.
