I've never actually posted (yet), but I would like to thank you Jersh for keeping at least the ideas alive. People may not want it, people may not care, but as long as the idea isn't stamped out, we can get on. There will always be somebody, some way to keep it going, even in a small capacity. Don't stop now.

But I gotta say, all the shit you’ve been through all these past few years I can totally understand where you’re coming from. I mean the fact that this place came back online after some weird chubby British asshole literally almost ruined both your and your mother’s lives is pretty damn impressive. But this totally seems like the kind of thing that’s fun when you’re still young and dumb, but once you hit a certain magical age it quickly becomes a massive responsibility for something that amounts to a bunch of spergs having a circlejerk while they overanalyze a vague tweet posted by an even bigger sperg who’s into diaperfur shit.

to me, it sounds like you are getting a burn out and need break from all of this shit. As other has suggested, take a long vacation first and foremost and get a hobby that does not invole autism on the internet. Get some stabilty in your life as well.
I love this site (fuck, I have been here since 2015) and I would miss it dearly.

I'm sad now. Do what you feel is right null but please find someway to keep the site going. It's nor perfect but after a year as a kiwi (longer if you count my time as a lurker) it's starting to feel like home. I don't use any social media. I don't need silicone valley to enjoy life. But coming her checking in on my gave threads and even posting on lolcow and non low-cost stuff without fear of a hate mob calling for my head if I say the wrong thing (mostly) is the highlight of my day.

Stay strong and stay safe. Call me optimistic even (I finally realize it's sarcastic) but I think 2020 is just a big hurdle that well get over. Hopefully soon every few years there's always some kinda test of faith everyone has to go thru

As a member that joined back in the early days, things really have changed. Null is right in that lolcows are more or less dead. This forum managed to help that out in that we got some people aware of this site that they can try to not post their own stupidity and then we get threads where the person in question isn't a lolcow but more of a sperg. One thing that will remain constant with this site though: the userbase itself being full of its own brand of autism.

Josh you should maybe consider just nuking the site like you said a few weeks ago on your show. Nuke it, get a high paying job working for any tech company that will take you. Maybe keep up the podcasting as a hobby or as a way to stay in touch with everyone. Find a girl, shit out a few kids, retire, and die knowing at least you gave it your all and got out with a few fans, a family, and some form of a normal life. I love the farms, have for awhile, just never got around to making an account until last year or whenever it was. But if it is causing so much negativity in your life why bother keeping it around? Or at least take a few weeks off of the site, if possible, and focus on your life or on streaming or on speedrunning Deus Ex or anything like that.

Idk man, if you are unsatisfied you need to make changes. Start small, and if nothing is improving try getting more and more drastic until you find yourself in a Turkish bathhouse known only as "the human toilet."
