The like to dislike ratios from the news outlets describing what happened in Atlanta gives me a bit of solace that the average person is getting immune or aware of the race baiting, misleading headlines they spit out.

I don't think that we'll see a rise in racism in America, but rather an intolerance towards blind identity politics. Maybe it'll start bad at first, but it will subside to a state of normalcy. As normal as America can get.

I would like to see the Republican Party get atone with the Black community. Not necessarily by just welfare, but look at the roots of the issues our community faces and try to resolve them. Not just ignore it in favor of tokenism.

I just finished watching the other cop's body cam, and anyone who talks about "de-escalation techniques" after tonight can go die in a fire. Preferably one they started.

Those cops talked to him calmly and respectfully for 26 minutes straight. They gave him second chances at the sobriety test. Other than the initial pat down, they didn't lay a finger on him until the very end. This was an entirely peaceful encounter, they had no reason to use force, until the guy snapped the second cuffs were going on him. And they were still trying to get him to calm down, and gave him warnings about the Taser!

I want the apologists who claim they're for "reform" to watch this video, the entire half hour until the fatal end, and come up with 5 procedural things that would improve the outcome. They won't have anything but slogans. I want those fuckers chained to their chairs and starved until they either come up with a "common sense solution" to this kind of a 911 call, or until they admit their entire reform demand is full of shit.
