I think it’s important to separate the concept of “not liking sex” and “not actively (or obsessively) searching for it”. Women aren’t asexual, they just have different motivations when it comes to relationships. Having a lower libido doesn’t equal not liking sex, it just means you’re not seeking it at every opportunity. For them the emotional gratification is just as (or more) important than the sexual, and for men it’s the opposite. I think the “women don’t want sex in their 20s” observation is simply because it coincides with the fact that teenage/young men are at their horniest in that time period, not necessarily that women are at their least.

Like the old saying goes, men need a place to have sex and women need a reason.
