Why do all of these people have the same AR-15-styled semi-auto? Props to Chungus for putting the drum magazine on there for some slight uniqueness. The libraries at these OWS-style protests is usually the only thing of interest, since it shows the bent of the organizers, what they think is important right now, and what ideologies aren't allowed.

This library sucks, and considering the low bar for these things, that takes some doing. I see a single useful book, the guide to getting a GRE, and even that is pointless in a block party full of insipid liberal arts majors.

This whole thing semi-restores my faith in humanity, though. When these idiot LARPers realized their dumb bullshit might actually kill people, they backed off on some parts of it.

Instead the city is letting them do incremental concessions, which legitimizes their bargaining power instead of cutting it off. Forcing them to beg for city services was probably the most non-violent, justified way to end this madness.

I think these guys see the whole "build-a-gun" community mostly worshipping at the altar of Colt and the AR-15. It always seems to be the first gun anyone builds out in the USA. They're also relatively cheap and reliable, so probably why most of them have them.

That's like bric a brac tables and small charity stands across the length and breadth of the UK. You might find one or two books that might be something you want or be of vague use, but the majority of them are just books and crap people clear out and try and get rid of from their own bookshelves and collections.

Especially as they've said they want to end their relationship with the police union (meaning basically ditching the police force).

You'd see the City Council make a faster fucking U-turn than they did with the Amazon head Tax.

America ain't Eastern Europe, you can't just get an AK-style rifle there that easily when AR-15-style rifles are way more prevalent. Because the AR is the AK-47 of the 21st century. It's cheap, there's endless choices for any part, it's documented incredibly well, and it's available everywhere. It's to sporting rifles what the Mazda Miata is to sports cars.

Personally, for tight-space urban combat in a place like CHAZ, I'd pass on the AR-15. High-speed 5.56 ball is just too likely to bust through a wall and kill someone down the street watching TV in their home, or ricochet and take out a bystander. I'd be far more likely to carry a pistol-round carbine -- including and especially the venerable M-1 -- or a 12-gauge shotgun if I had to fight in Capitol Hill.

The fat guy in the Video -IS- carrying an AK pattern rifle as WARLORD Raz seems to. There was also that Zastava M85/M92 earlier in the thread.

As for the prevalence of AR15s? There are so many parts, configurations and calibers that you can build an AR to do most anything and I say this as a man who sleeps with an AK74 under his bed.
