I must admit, as accurately as you explained that and voiced why that book is undoubtedly dreck, I'm really hoping for Bolton's book to be released. That might contain some interesting ORANGEMANBAD. The one thing I learned about these books is that they need to be ridiculous to sell and appeal to the orange man bad crowd. As my liberal friend once put it if even 1% of what in here is real that it's encriminating enough to get him kicked out. TDS makes you operate weirdly they take the concept that their is truth to everything too literally, the guy said he knew most of the tales were fake but atleast one had to be true and since they were so ridiculous the one that was true was bad enough.

I don’t know if there is any “true neutral” source for news. What I like to do is view a mixture of liberal, conservative and libertarian news sources. Since I’m more conservative, I tend to read more liberal news sites so I get less clouded in confirmation bias (though, pretty much everyone is guilty of that at some point). Again, this is just what I do. The best way, in my opinion, to combat bias is to just see how the same story is reported across different news sites and social media platforms and compare and contrast.

I think Tucker is somewhat out of step with his audience. His audience already knows how fucked up it all is. That's why they voted for Trump.

The difference is that he thinks we should spend political capital on pushing back while his audience wants to let it ride and let the Dems destroy each other and alienate the moderates. Of course Congressional Republicans are okay with this because just letting it ride would also be the coward's response. So for once the base isn't being screwed over because playing it slow is actually what the base wants.

I'm okay with Tucker pouring gasoline on the fire though. I'm all about that.

I think Tucker believes Trump should be sending in the military to stomp out the protests and riots, even though it'd bring up the same legal problems of trying to use the national guard for anything more than paperwork at the border plus would bring in the same optics issues that came from just clearing out the rioting that happened across from the White House. Given the DoJ having to resort to prison guards (since the army refused) to quell the rioting right near the White House resulted in Trump getting lambasted for just wanting a photo op, it probably would work out equally as shitty to do the same elsewhere.

Also I think people are starting to get bored of protesting so they're dying down on their own. Major holdout is Chaz and that's practically a music festival atmosphere with a whole load of crazy homeless people mixed in robbing people.
