So the most recent leaks are real then.

So let's get this straight. Ellie hunts down Abby to kill her, after Abby killed Joel and left Ellie and Dina for dead. Ellie finds that someone is already in the process of executing Abby. Rather than personally finish the helpless Abby off, or maybe just breaking Abby's legs or gutting her to make sure she won't survive even if Ellie leaves her to die; Ellie cuts her down, lets her cut someone else down, almost lets them go, only to pick a fight with Abby in the water where the footing is bad? When Ellie already lost to Abby in close combat before? When Abby's murdered who knows how many people, and Ellie's killed who knows how many people to get to Abby?

I don't think endings get much more absurdly stupid than this. There might be dumber ways to do "revenge bad", but I can't think of them offhand. The shit storm as the fans of the game see the ending should be fun.

I love how they completely disregard the tiny details you can gather in the first in which you see how incompetent the Fireflies were. Ellie just wanted to die.

I can’t get over the fact that the leaks were actually fucking real. What a wonderful shitshow this is going to turn out to be.

this type of word of mouth only really matters to internet people though. sure, it will get trashed in user reviews on metacritic, and post launch professionalk reviews may end up being a little more critical of the game than the pre-approved ones we have now, but i don't think the bulk of the audience cares. normies don't follow autistic video game gossip like this, they preorder games based on cinematics and trust IGN lol.

True, gamers as a lot are far too loyal of consoomers for me to think it's likely TLOU2 financially craters, just like ME3. But expect any prospective TLOU3 to be met with a wall of indifference. Mass Effect Andromeda's only claim to fame was how buggy and bad the launch went. If it weren't so visually weird looking it would've come and gone like a fart in the wind, much like Anthem's release.
