Oh yeah, that is indeed exactly what we did, turned them all back to churches. And slowly expand them, today most of them are some of the oldest, largest and most beautiful cathedrals in the world. Specially the cathedral of seville, going there and seeing all the different expansions in the style of each age, it's like a single building managed to represent all of spanish medieval history, it's a sight to behold to be sure, and the catholics sure as shit still pray on it.

Having been around furries for practically my entire time on the internet, I think the thing here is that a lot of these people have some sort of protagonist syndrome, where they are the main character of each event and they have to make a statement and make a change. It speaks to some inability to separate themselves from the fiction they've made a "hobby" (if you would want to call it a hobby) out of.

Having made some posts in a few servers related to the riots and Rayshard Brooks, a lot of these people would rather ignore any constructive discussion and instead use the moment to make an example of you by saying how bad you are and how good they are by being unable to tolerate the discussion on the topic. Like they think that cowering behind some inability to hear dissenting opinions is virtuous. I wouldn't even call myself anything but a fence sitter in such discussions, as I would rather try and meet a mutual ground than scream at a wall for hours, but even that weak approach is too much and people have outright un-personed me among certain groups because of it.

These sorts of people are willing to wear their fetishes on their sleeves, so it's no surprise that they are so loud with their retarded politics. But they also happen to be so weak that they would rather paint even the slightest disagreement as some massive slight against them, as well as anyone else who may have even been tangentially related. They are the protagonist after all, and the protagonist usually has some posse of equally weak faggots who help them destroy the big bad and they all live comfortably in the last few paragraphs that never actually go into the aftermath of them toppling whatever system they saw as evil.

I'd love for this to all just go back to people fighting over which furry female was the best waifu, it wasn't nearly as autistic in hindsight.

It's not even just furries at this point, the dragging of politics especial PC and SJW politics into every space regardless of whether it pertains or not has made everything part of a struggle narrative. The communities around fandoms have been going this way for years and the issue is that through trying to include yourself in these you either have to toe the line that they begin to arbitrarily draw or eat some shit when they eventually take it over. By jumping from topical media fandom to the next topical media fandom these same people are entrenched all over the place by just participating and have created an outrage mob which gets fanned by the media into these big political statements like BLM riots.

There is no reason for them to put this shit in Call of Duty or Magic the Gathering but they have to because they know that anything going against the current is likely to draw ire and potentially cut away from sales. If the pendulum were to swing so far back and nazis took over the same companies would likely try and signal how much they hate jews and minorities and put Hitler on a Legendary card with +2/+2 to all Aryan creatures and First Strike against Juden just because they could see that as a way to get in favor with whoever is in power. No, they retrieved that by hand. I clipped the Wendy's surveillance footage; you can see both Tasers have a light on them, and when Brooks gets shot the Taser drops from his hand and lands near a car. The 2nd cop comes up and picks it up at 0:50.

Hard to tell from this angle, but it also looks like Brooks wasn't fully "down" for a few seconds when the cop who shot him approached him. He might have been moving Brooks' arms to secure him.
