I do believe she once let it slip in a video that her grandmother used to say that to her when she was a child and kept asking for more food. So it most likely did start out as a genuine tic.
Does anyone have a source, or at least remember her saying this as well? Iv'e always wondered if it was something like that. It would say a lot about Chinny if being told to not gorge herself as a kid was so traumatic it gave her a permanent tic.

edit: spelling

I only remember her saying that when she had something good to eat, she wanted to savor the moment, so she’d say shh to quiet people down-adding that she’s always been weird. Don’t recall her mentioning her grandmother.

I honestly don’t think she even recognized that she had this tic until people started noticing it-they she’d fake the tic and made up reasons for it.

That thumbnail.

Hey guys hey!

I just searched the thread and found a similar comment from @welsho from Oct. 2019.

So it's not just me. But her numerous videos are sooooo similar and boring, there would have been nothing about that one in particular to make it stand out other than that statement. If anyone has the patience and intestinal fortitude to root it out, then semper fi!

he wasn't willing to go to the effort, than it wasn't eaten. He was a normal sized guy.
This 100% works. You can even tweak it to agree that you will only eat something out of your reach; something you need to go to the kitchen for. Then move on to making everything from scratch. This helps with binge eating sometimes because you don’t want to go through the effort of making it and the urge has passed by the time you are done cooking it.
