Six former employees of eBay, Inc. have been charged with leading a cyberstalking campaign targeting the editor and publisher of a newsletter that eBay executives viewed as critical of the company. The alleged harassment included sending the couple anonymous, threatening messages, disturbing deliveries – including a box of live cockroaches, a funeral wreath and a bloody pig mask – and conducting covert surveillance of the victims.

It is alleged that in August 2019, after the newsletter published an article about litigation involving eBay, two members of eBay’s executive leadership team sent or forwarded text messages suggesting that it was time to “take down” the newsletter’s editor.

In response, Baugh, Harville, Popp, Gilbert, Zea, Stockwell, and others allegedly executed a three-part harassment campaign. Among other things, several of the defendants ordered anonymous and disturbing deliveries to the victims’ home, including a preserved fetal pig, a bloody pig Halloween mask, a funeral wreath, a book on surviving the loss of a spouse, and pornography – the last of these addressed to the newsletter’s publisher but sent to his neighbors’ homes.

As part of the second phase of the campaign, some of the defendants allegedly sent private Twitter messages and public tweets criticizing the newsletter’s content and threatening to visit the victims in Natick. The documents allege that Baugh, Gilbert, Popp and another eBay security employee planned these messages to become increasingly disturbing, culminating with “doxing” the victims (i.e., publishing their home address). It is alleged that the very same group intended then to have Gilbert, a former Santa Clara police captain, approach the victims with an offer to help stop the harassment that the defendants were secretly causing, in an effort to promote good will towards eBay, generate more favorable coverage in the newsletter, and identify the individuals behind the anonymous comments.

These are senior executives of a large Silicon Valley tech firm going after a couple of suburban bloggers. I'm telling you a significant proportion of the population, including people who're in charge of our largest companies and government institutions, are stark raving mad.

Regarding the police walkout in Atlanta: I'm going to get quite a sense schadenfreude if for 24 hours the city becomes a real life version of "The Culling" and any of the usual ACAB twitteraty crowd, upon seeing Tyrone and Shaniqua walking up to their front door, will dial 911 only to get a recorded Joker laugh track on the other end. The maybe, if they survive, might learn that you do not advocate for anarchy and lawlessness.

Police enrollment is going to be on an all time low in the foreseeable future in all Democrat enclaves. Who in their right mind will want to "protect and serve" in a community where your role is vilified by the people and the institutions alike?

They sowed the wind now reap the fucking whirlwind.

History is gaslighting me at this point.
Bring on the right wing authoritarian theocracy at this point. I’m an atheist, but I’d rather LARP as a Christian to avoid witch hunts and shit than put up with this shit any longer. I’m so done with these people.

That Huffpo article essentially tries to defend her and suggest that it's all a HOAX! HOAX! Here's the article which did some digging.

I work with people like this. Constantly banging on about "the working class, the working man, solidarity against the bourgeois!" while coming from cushy-cozy six-figure households and globetrotting since wee childhood. None of them spot an ounce of irony in it; they've genuinely never interacted with most poor people, have a real disdain for the working class, yet have such a self-obsessed and grifting worldview that they genuinely believe they're somehow impoverished. Normally because they feel they're "entitled" to more, despite being roundly lazy sacks of shit whose saving grace is that nepotism's hard to smack out.
I fcking despise those types. I've seen it on Twatter recently. they treat the working class the same way a they do black people - objects of fetishization whose sole purpose is to sput the rhetoric that gets them wet

Recently they've been going off on one cos some shops inlusing Primark have reopened and there were huge queues formed at opening. People wanted to know why they could go to Primark but not work and the middle class cunts were dogpiling saying "well you hate the working classes!!" When truth is, it's the working classes that vote tory, are incresingly turning against Labour, rejected staying in the EU and we hate it when people go for our statues, we like sportsball and racist songs that go with it

They like the working classes only if we say the things they like to hear.

They should probably just embrace "community policing" for urban areas and keep regular cops everywhere else. They should hire only black "community liasons" for these urban areas and, of course, they should be unarmed. Let's give that a try and see how things work out. They can be the experiment group and other areas can be the control groups. At the end, let's compare stats and see what works better.

Cops will do what they're told as long as they get paid and are assured they'll be collecting their pensions. They'll happily round up the enemies of the state for processing into death camps if they get a 5% bump in their take home. The same cops who're bitching about BLM were the ones manhandling suburban soccer moms for letting their kids play outside a few weeks ago. So fuck them, I'm glad they're on the receiving end of a politically motivated harassment and defamation campaign. Maybe some of them will wake the fuck up and perhaps not enforce unconstitutional mandates in the future.

they dont like the actual real-wold working class at all, never have. they just like the abstract theoretical idea of "the proletariat" as described by marxist academic works, and even that only because it is the central moral justification for their entire ideologys claim to power.

Yo, police was only ever a concept because whites wanted to catch escaped niggers, no such thing existed beforehand, people just killed each other in honourable duels or some other shit like this.

This is your modern liberal. Ignorant beyond belief. The closest thing to a modern permanent police force was established in France in the 1600s. The word "police" is a French loan word. Then the 1700's the UK started to pay watchmen tax monies and making it an arm of the state, and slowly started peeling away the privately paid watchmen, eventually developing into the Met and Scotland Yard by the 1800's. Talking about official uniforms and chain of command, a proper tax paid salary, laws that gave them power to do certain things and so on. Before that it was all private funded shit or volunteers.

The US did have slave catchers in the South, but those were before any official form of police force was established. When slavery was abolished, so were those slave capture groups. They didn't "evolve" into a police force. What instead happened is the US followed the old European and British system of a police force because those were great examples of a modern, organised, up to date police force.

These retards what it to go backwards to the time of private contracted police forces and volunteers, not realising how poorly that shit will go. Want to see people killed or physically abused/a system corrupted beyond belief, go back to the old style of policing and good luck trying to figure things out.

Police enrollment has been down for several years in some of the larger cities. This has just made it worse

The American education system doesn't teach the history of the Soviet Union, The People's Republic of China or the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Most of the top commies were psychopaths and sexual sadists. Stalin's right hand man, Lavrentiy Beria, was an out and out serial killer who would prowl the streets of Moscow with his bodyguards, kidnap underage girls, brutally rape and torture them to death and have their bodies buried in his garden. Mao was a pedophile who enjoyed raping pre-pubescent virgins. The biographies of the commie greats are a collection of weirdness and sociopathy.

Communism was an abject and unmitigated disaster in the 20th century which led to the murder and starvation of hundreds of millions of people. No one who spends more than 5 minutes examining it's history could possibly think otherwise. So what type of person would be attracted to it? The type of person who can only achieve personal gratification through the subjugation and humiliation of others. It's pure evil, true Satanism. Anyone who espouses Marxism is either a retard or enjoyed drowning cats when they were children.

So I had nearly caught up to the thread - being only about 200 pages behind at this point, and I was getting MATI enough that I felt called to action. Particularly, I wanted to see if there was any opportunity to push back against this wave of people being fired and kicked out of colleges over their milquetoast opposition to BLM. So I go to the website for the Republican Party to see if there's a local meeting or any scheduled activism, and what do I find?

I find that the Republican Party is too busy cancelling their own people over their anti-BLM statements to help protect their constituents from losing their jobs over the same thing.

Hello,

I am a Republican voter in Texas. I have donated to various Republican candidates in the last several elections and posted campaign posters in my yard, but haven’t been actively involved in much political activity. The past few days have motivated me to look for opportunities to do something to advance conservative ideas and find ways to speak back against the blatantly false narratives that have been pushed by leftist propagandists. Particularly, I’ve been concerned about the leftist tactic of finding offensive posts on social media – or even posts that aren’t offensive, but speak counter to the leftist narrative on race and policing – tracking down the identities of those posters, and working to get them fired, kicked out of their colleges, or any other form of social ostracization they can think of to ruin that person’s life.

I have been thinking about how this leftist trend toward ruining the lives and careers of people on the right of the political spectrum is a threat to the ideals of our country, our freedoms as Americans, and even our ability to survive as a civilization. I went to the Republican Party of Texas’ website today, looking to see what opportunities there were for political activism – only to see that the Republican Party of Texas is involved in precisely the same sort of cancel culture destruction of a person’s life that motivated me to turn here in the first place in their rush to try and silence Cynthia Brehm. I’ve looked into her comments, and they seem like wild speculation. They seem unhelpful. I’d even call them incendiary and stupid. However, there’s no real world consequences to any person from those statements, while there are real world consequences to the cowardly Republican demand issued by James Dickey that Cynthia Brehm step down from her position. A person losing their position is a real world consequence. Hearing a stupid idea isn’t.

Republican voices are systematically and aggressively being chased out of the public sphere. Twitter users are being banned. College students are having their acceptance into college revoked. Companies are sending out letters telling their employees that any message they share on social media challenging the Black Lives Matter narrative will get them fired. Having a Republican make a stupid comment may turn off some voters – but actively contributing to a culture that not only silences conservative voices, but actively punishes anyone who dares voice conservative ideals will not only ultimately end the Republican party, it will effectively criminalize it.

I do not see any reason to support an organization working to bring about its own destruction. I would like to protect my ability to speak about my priorities, my ideals, my political beliefs, but I see no reason to believe that the Republican party, the organization that is engaging in the same cancel culture tactics (against its own party members, to boot!) is able or willing to defend my rights. The left is working tirelessly to make sure that Republicans are unemployed and unemployable. And by what I’ve seen on your website, you’re more than happy to help them. I am disappointed and disgusted.

I guess I’m going to go look at the Libertarian Party’s website…

With Total Candor,

A Person Who Daren’t Write Her Name in Case Y’all Decide to Cancel Me.

You should be ashamed for promoting this culture of fear.

You all should resign. I’ve never heard of Cynthia before, hadn’t heard of her until I visited the website today, but at least she had the guts to stand by her ideals. I was pretty proud to come to a state that proudly proclaimed, ‘Don’t Mess With Texas,’ but y’all sure don’t live up to that motto. It’d be more accurate to say, ‘Please Tell Us Which Boot to Lick.’

Then, as I'm there in my email, I notice that a message from the library has been sent to my spam folder, so I pull that up, wondering what it is.

My suburban, Republican city is sending out anti-racist reading lists on their official library email.

The reading list is:
-How to be an AntiRacist by Ibram X. Kendi,
-White Fragility by Robin Diangelo
-Biased: Uncovering the hidden Prejudice that Shapes What We See, Think and Do by Jennifer Eberhardt
-So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo
-Between the World and Me by Tanehisi Coates
-Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad
-Just Mercy: Adapted for Young Adults by Bryan Stevenson
-Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi
and Woke Baby (a picture book for children) - by Mahogany L. Brown.

I'm going to be putting on my Karen hat later today and calling every member of my city council today to see whether they approve of their tax-payer funded library engaging in partisan politics.
