What happened to this girl is sickening.
This hospital basically kept her in solitary confinement and wasn't allowed to see her family.
I was equally sickened when the lawsuit was decided in FAVOR OF THE HOSPITAL.

Boring? Well, it was a "Nick reads a legal document" stream, except with two awkward speds instead of just one. I don't recall hearing about this case as it was going down somehow, so I thought it was pretty interesting/infuriating personally. It really shows the flaws of a "we know what's good for you" system.

Outside of New England people rarely heard of the case. It's not uncommon for the only people to have known about it at the time were people in Massachusetts and Connecticut because the judge put a gag order on the family preventing them from talking about it. Outside of Jeff Kuhner's covering of the story I think there were only a handful of situations where the father, Lou, gave an interview (one with Fox 25 News and one with Howie Carr) prior to said gag order. Since national news doesn't want to cover stories like that without being able to interview the family, not even Fox News covered it. Once she was back with her family the time had passed for it to be covered in earnest so it fell by the wayside.

Yea the lack of show prep on Nick's part killed this one. Such a shame. If you are going to have a guest on interview them about the case and let them talk about it (like with the Michigan kid stream) not taking turns reading some legal document. If Nick isn't going to put in the prep work to make sure he has a solid show he should just stick to streaming video games.
