I like that it points out that it's about the same in a lot of ways.

The big way is, well, kind of how white people look at it when someone gets killed in a legit shooting or after a life of crime.

I mean, come on, we've ALL got that guy in the family or know someone who does. You know who I'm talking about. The dumbass who CONSTANTLY gets in shit with the cops. The dumbass that tries to sell dope disguised as a nun.

When he gets shot by the cops the initial problem is desperately trying not to laugh in front of the person who told you.

"The cops killed my brother Tommy>"

Then you ask "Well, how did it happen?" and then you try not to laugh about it.

Because you've known this shit was coming since he was like 9.

"Well, you know, he was still mad over that cop pulling him over while he was filming an underage porno in the back of that U-Haul he was stolen and was driving 90 mph through a school zone with "FREE METH" painted on the side, so he snuck up on the cop and threw a live racoon on the cop, who shot him twice in the balls. He died trying to jump out of the ambulance. The cops ran him over, and he jumped up and tried to run away and fell off the bridge and drowned. The cops killed him."

i'm surprised they allow single men to adopt, whats stopping some Eliot Roger-esqe dude from adopting a 12 year old loli to keep forever? Gaetz net worth was pretty low when he adopted too. he was just your average trust fund baby turned lawyer/state politican.

With all the hoops others supposedly go through how did this slip by, plus him vetoing that human-trafficking bill is pretty shady. and this is supposedly the heir apparent for the GOP.

As a native New Yorker, there's a lot more shit than that that's gone down in NYC between blacks and jews except a lot of it tends to get memoryholed or buried so if you weren't around for it, you probably won't know it.

Thankfully I'm old enough to have been around during all this and I have a good memory.

I don't think there's ever been peace between blacks and jews in NYC. I remember Crown Heights well - a Jew I think named Yankel Rosenbaum was driving and hit a young black girl and soon his car was surrounded by an angry black mob who dragged him out of the car and stabbed him to death in front of his brother. I still drive through Crown Heights from time to time and that neighborhood is still a shithole.

Gaetz is a pretty eligible bachelor. He certainly likes to play at being a manly-man Chad and could have any hot blonde tradwife he wanted...so why hasn't he married? Doesn't Whitehetero McNormalman want the 12 year old Cuban boy he adopted at age 31 to have a mom? Just asking questions.

Just about every Racial Justice Holiday thing isn't known until it gets brought up through some outside force. Juneteenth being one of them, another being California has a state holiday for Caesar Chavez. Who was Caesar Chavez? Some migrant worker who helped organize all the other migrant workers. Wasn't in a history book or anything, not even for state history. Found out because I went to the DMV and they were closed in celebration of Caesar Chavez Day. First thought was of course, "Who the fuck is Caesar Chavez?"
