I occurred to me today that I’m starting to understand why people in Germany ultimately put Hitler in power. After years of chaos and economic disaster, he promised a return of order and pride in his country. I think a lot of people want a return to normalcy. With how fucked up things are I can see how a dictatorship could happen if someone managed to capture the moment and do what people actually want instead of constantly fucking us up the ass like normal politicians do.

It seems like the country has suddenly gone insane and we’re giving power to the most degenerate and incompetent people we can.
