I think if anyone would be carrying out bombings or outright political murder it's Antifa/BLM. Technically Dixie, though I consider Texas more Southwest rather than Southern. People don't really care much for the Confederate flags or Confederacy in general because Texas was always relatively distinct from the rest of the South mostly because it fought for its independence and spent some time as its own country before joining the union, also because in general other than blockade running it was pretty unaffected by the Civil War.

Kwanzaa was always a fake holiday and even in the 90's it was seen as a joke.

Juneteenth was an actual holiday from the Reconstruction Era and the days of the Old West, but it was very much a small and regional thing mostly confined to Texas and the Southwest.

In fact, it's been a big deal in Texas since the 1860's, and they even recognized it as an official state holiday in the early 1970's because it was so entrenched in the rural black community there, and this was decades before Austin was overrun with Californian hipsters and punks.

Kwanzaa will never catch on and most blacks think it's a joke at best.

Juneteenth at least has a historical origin, even if its current popularity is being astroturfed so the BLM/Antifa crowd can use it as the "moral alternative" to Fourth of July the same way that the old fundies pushed "Hallelujah Night" as a moral alternative for Halloween.

There is a small historic cemetery near me with both Confederate and Union graves and a small monument to unknown Confederate dead.
It is now being watched by armed locals due to protests in the city nearby.
Many locals also have kin burried there.

It is history and while chucklefuck's keep blathering on about white people and our supposed sins of the past/the original sin bullshit...the real sin to me is erasing history to appease a mob that will never be appeased.
