The reason we are sitting back watching this unravel and eating popcorn is because that is the most prudent course of action. Most of the arson and looting has been confined to the ghetto. They want to burn their neighborhood down? Fine. What should we do? Go down to the ghetto and shoot some of the animals burning down the city or stealing people livelihoods?

Still, all that is wrong with this thread revolves around the above. There is an enormous amount of well archived info here-in, but the cringe cope doom posting has been a catalyst for the whining and finger pointing. I can appreciate it to an extent, and I have tried to combat it with some solutions, or outright calling out the blackpillers (as have others). But I can appreciate why it's happening. This thread has been relentlessly thorough in its documentation. One gets a virtual shotgun blast to the face when attempting to take it all in. 2016 did not cause this. What we are seeing has been brewing for decades, so either hunker down and figure your shit out, or bend over and spread 'em. It's phases. First week was heavy rioting. Second week was protesters calming down the riots and actually getting some protesting done. 3rd week was the kneeling and the CHAZ arc, and now we're in the Memory Hole History phase.

When there's riots and pseudo-riots, the thread moves fast. CHAZ got its own 139 page thread, so that info is happening elsewhere. Things got slow and the thread went doomery because of the ideological crap that started happening for the last week and a half. But that also happens on any random lolcow thread on here; when the subject isn't actively acting out in public, the thread starts analyzing them or discussing tangents.

There's still riots riots, shootings, and burning going on, and now there's statue-toppling to track. If you don't like the discussion in between, quit whining and contribute something yourself.
