In retrospect, I think one of the root causes of this is education or rather the abortion of what the education system is.
We have this push for getting a degree just for the sake of getting a degree.
What does getting a degree, outside of STEM, prove to an employer? That you aren't a total fuck up and can work independently to some degree. But its not needed. However, what this fetisization over getting a degree does is allowing quasi-Marxist ideas to take hold in the minds of the youth. So now, we have a bunch of critical theorists shitting on Western ideas all the while never really offering anything of substance. The academy might eventually push whatever derivative of communism is in vogue at the current time but as we see with CHAZ / CHOP it ends up being a dismal failure.
Frankly, I can only see SoJus education getting more retarded as time goes on. We have purity spirals fueled by the publish or perish system. All their studies are gibberish non-sense, I believe that some computer was able to string some words together and get published. Have we forgotten about the dog park articles exposing academia? Add in some kids that have grown up with them getting trophies even if they lose, where games don't keep score, with kids are taught that hurt feels are nearly the same as physical injury, for this push of the garbage concept known as emotional intelligence?
Considering all the leftist bullshit that has promulgated our education system, can we say that we are surprised of where we are now? In the end, we get emotionally fragile adults that have been spoon fed drivel about how evil America. We have them with useless degrees and mountains of debt. That is the perfect conditions for a mob that can be exploited.
What are my solutions? If you think shooting up an university or school to kill a bunch of Marxists and their retards, is the solution please just off yourself right now. All your actions will do is push more gun control. The only solution I see is taking the Romanian route and de-funding these programs while privatizing student loans and making them dischargeable. No bank will loan money the the masses to be an art major or someone interested in queer theory. But, that is hard and does not win elections. It requires your part to be in power for at least two terms and probably four (16 years) to undo some of the damage that has already be done.
