Police just forcibly removed, manhandled, and arrested a peaceful protester at Trump’s Tulsa rally for no discernible reason except wearing a shirt that said “I can’t breathe.” She had a ticket and was not trespassing. This arrest was illegal.

As someone pretty familiar with Kentucky politics McGrath will likely lose here, she can pump as much money into it as she wants, McConnell sucks but Kentucky voted heavily for Trump and even though they voted for Beshear over Bevin that was mainly because Bevin was such an unlikable asshole, McConnell has been a key figure in Kentucky politics for decades now and will likely have that seat until he retires or dies. Another thing to note is that every big state seat in Kentucky, aside from governor, is held by a Republican.

Also, if you want to take opinion polls into count McConnell currently leads her by about 20%. Obviously things can change between now and November but I don't see it changing by much unless Mitch straight starts screaming "NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER" on a live microphone or something.


Amy already tried and failed to unseat Andy Barr in the House of Representatives, she came close so I'll give her that but she still lost, guess she figures second times the charm.

Barr said that he was going to remove SDNY attorney Geoffrey Berman from office, Berman said that he was going to resist the effort, and a day later he was fired. Didn't put up that much of a fight, I guess.
