I always thought that not including any of your really real, totally existing, completely vindicating evidence in your court defense is a really sound, big-brained legal strategy, right up there with being on trial for murder, having an alibi, but not talking about your alibi or including any evidence of it in any of your pleadings.
A second type of legal genius is, when you are being sued for statements you've made online, to continue making those same statements while the case is active. Talking about the case, obsessively, everywhere online that you can find an audience, is definitely a smarter legal strategy than shutting your face and letting your lawyer do your talking for you. I'm sure there are lots of lawyers out there giving their clients exactly that advice: "Whatever you do, during the entire legal process talk endlessly in public about your case, continuing the behavior that got you sued in the first place."
