I have never experienced the love of nation from an American compared to a Chinaman, there is no comparison. I mean, you can love your country, along with its history and accomplishments, without trumpeting how great the perpetrators of the countries' lowest points were. At this point I don't even think it's protestors or antifa doing the destruction, it's a bunch of criminals and lowlives taking advantage of the situation. No cops to hinder their activities, and if they do show up, they think they can resist arrest as long as their melanin count is high enough cause no cop wants to risk the political firestorm of another dead niggo on their hands. The activists were the ones who lit the flames, but the criminal scum are the ones keeping it going now.

Whether that was their intent from the start or they stupidly unleashed a beast they can't control remains to be seen. With what I've seen from the American left, both options are plausible.

The chinese are famous for their state sponsored historiography, and infamous for their rewriting of it by subsequent dynasties. IIRC it was the early Ming dynasty under which the "Shilu" (veritable records) were rewritten to suit the present dynasty. The Shilu are not just any history book, what they rewrote were archives and annals. They changed the facts, not just the interpretation. Everyone seems to fellate chinese "meritocracy" and their imperial bureaucracy but the more I learn about it the more it looks like some kafkaesque, pre-industrial 1984 shit.

The bottom line of identity politics is division for the purpose of self-service. Mainly out of insecurity, but confident con artists are at it too for obvious reasons. It is like a fractal; smaller and more particular (read: “exceptional” / “oppressed” / “marginalized”) identity groups ride a reeee wave to the fore, unable to resist trading an opportunity of real solidarity for an fleeting hoorah of self-validation. The larger grievance groups are pushed to the back of the stack by a retarded inversion of meritocracy, and then have to check their relative privilege in the pecking order. The cycle continues, never running out of ammo of relative privilege.

This process is auto-cannabalistic and the logical conclusion is a sort of apotheosis of the individual as the apex identity in identity politics; however it will infight and fragment before this point. That’s why identity politics is the spiritual successor of evangelical, religious extremism and zealotry... and all the symptoms like us vs them, disowning dissidents, no concept of facts or reality, eventual denominations, etc.

It is a doomed mentality and is self-limiting in its size, growth, and power, but is constantly self-regenerative as long as political correctness is a fuel source. The sooner we as a society drop the polite shit, tell fuckheads to their screeching faces that we don’t respect their capacity to be offended (and that no one should), and see the greater unity in being an American, this shit will continue to push us all down the tubes.

This is why I will probably vote for Trump. He’s not the authoritarian tyrant the Left makes him out to be (even when a true totalitarian regime is already under their noses in the form of BLM), he showed this in his response to the rioting and CHAZ. China made the shift from communist to fascist. It seems to be working out very well for them tbh. Cultural heritage and revival is an important part of nationalism, which China is all about these days.

edit: to be fair so is America in a lot of ways at least culturally with the whole racial pride, anarchotyrany, and corporate control bit. It's just that whites and conservatives are the scapegoat/losing side in this one
