Yes, it does matter how people pronounce it: Genasis74. Spellings are often in flux. Genasis is how I spell it based on its pronunciation and gematria(8,74) of 74=G7+E5+N14+A1+S19+I9+S19.

בראשית is the Hebrew word for Genesis. This spelling has not changed in thousands of years because the Hebrew language is not "in flux". There is no Hebrew equivalent for "Genasis" therefore your use of this for gematria is in error. By the way, the gematria for בראשית is 913.

I have NEVER claimed to be the "Son of God" nor did Jesus son of Joseph/"son of man". So that makes your anonymous pastor wrong right there. There are mistakes in the Bible and the proper interpretation of Scripture has always been thee debate. The original Christian scriptures may have been written in Aramaic or Hebrew but if it was, it didn't survive. Everyone thinks of the Christian Testament (after 2,000 years, they're hardly the "New Testament" anymore) as being originally written in Greek. They were encoded with Greek isopsephy (isopsephia).
