As everyone says in the Jimquision thread, he's a fat fuck idiot who spouts horrible opinions about games and if you disagree with him, then you're the idiot.

The video that pissed me the fuck off was him saying Dark Souls was all about the upper class vs the lower class. Then in the very end he just goes, "But that's my take, everyone has a different one". It made me angry because it was such a stupid fucking statement and then he covers his ass by saying the only reasonable thing he said that whole video.

No it wasn't fucking about class issues you fucking idiot. Dark Souls was about trying to make shit work even as the world is fucking ending you fat son of a bitch.

Also, does anyone know if the claim that Last of Us 2 is actually Sony's biggest launch? I keep seeing it in my news and I knew it would make money but the "biggest"?

There's a VG24/7 article a few pages back crowing about it, but they give %s of how much better it's doing than one, without giving actual sales estimates(like "3/5 million sold in two days!" for example, which would be easier to understand).

It's about physical copies sold in the UK.

This game will sell a lot regardless, but I think the "best selling game ever" is unfounded so far. Not to mention how many copies will sell long term, GTA V is still selling 7 years later.

I wonder if that takes into account 'units available in stores' which are technically purchased, versus 'units actually purchased by consumers from stores,' because I totally believe stores overbought product based on hype, but it's sitting on store shelves in some areas as a dud in areas. I wish I knew more about the supply chain and how these metrics are gathered.

I can believe it. Horned animals, like cattle, goats, or sheep, might be a bit tougher to kill with a gunshot to the head, or at least require careful aim, because they fight by headbutting and need a sturdy skull for that. But horses fight by kicking with their powerful legs. They don't need specially reinforced skulls.

You can re-bind controller inputs and they make a song and dance about this as if it's some sort of massive innovation. Hello, that's been in PC games since the mid 1990s.

While I'm pleased with the idea of cheat codes making a comeback in the base game instead of being something they try to charge you for, I'm disappointed that the fun cheat codes of yore aren't anything that can be shoehorned into accessibility. What disability would, say, re-adding the blood in the Sega Genesis version of Mortal Kombat help with? Or the topless girl on the title screen in Rings of Power?

Neil seems insanely unlikable. I doubt he has many real friends outside of his suck-ups in jounalism/work circles.

Maybe that is why he needed to mocap his self-insert sex scene, because deep down people cant stand to be around someone who embodies all the negative stereotypes artists have. He has to prove to the world hes a popular sex having success who is a master story teller.

Odd flex, considering every action he takes makes him look more and more like a prick and fucking old final fantasy games on the super nintendo were more emotionally gripping then all the fancy graphics his team can put into a golf club swinging tranny.
