I mean, Trump would still be wrong (unless the claim is Obama helped Al Qaeda), thought he double standard is what tickles me. People can accuse Trump of treason left right and center with no further specifications, a federal JUDGE can accuse Flynn of it without any elaboration. But Trump does it, and suddenly its bad.

She used to be a talking head on CNN and would get condescended to quite a bit in 2016. Hell often times she give a good point and they’d just brush past it by not engaging with it.
She’s brighter than most of them and it probably pains their egos.

Maybe in Europe, where the Muslims have numbers on their side, but European SJW's have different priorities than SJW's here in the USA. Muslims are a more common minority in Europe and are higher on the Progressive Stack on that side of the Atlantic.
I think the American Woke Left is willing to go after Islam once they think they have finally fully suppressed Christianity and white people enough that the dead horse of the Religious Right turns into grave dust. Especially once the Muslims start going after the trannies and the feminists.
Plus, the Woke Left isn't as fully entrenched in the United States like it is in Europe (although they're getting close) and since the American Muslim population is outnumbered by both the blacks and the queers, to say nothing of the feminists on the Left, I think the Muslims might be one of the next groups to get targeted now that Asians and non-secular Jews are on the shit list.
9/11 cast a major specter over America's perception of Islam, and even into the start of the 2010's, a lot of American leftists would condemn Islam.

The whole "hijab as a symbol of feminism" thing is pretty ironic if you know what's going on on the other side of the world, but it's not ironic to the left because socially left younger muslims really are a dime a dozen in American cities.The Bush era permanently branded muslims as a "victim" class. Lefties are really uncomfortable talking about misogyny and homophobia in Islam, I don't expect that to change.
I expect them to go after East-Asians after white people (it's already happening to some degree). But "after white people" is a long time from now. They're not just gonna get bored of scapegoating whitey some day.

Trump looks weaker than ever for a supposed "law & order" candidate. I've supported him on most things but I think he's completely botched his handling of this and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Could cost him votes.

He's basically told people that if they want the problem solved, they have more power than the President does insofar as they can vote out the rotten Democrats and demand law and order on a local level much faster and efficiently than Trump mobilizing the National Guard and dealing with endless legal wrangling and endless media hack-jobs.
If the feds come in and break it up by force, yeah, it'd feel good but, nothing will be learned.
The citizens will just assume that if it gets bad enough again in the future, the NG will just show up and deal with it, and the entrenched blue fuckwits will blame "outsiders" for the fact the "peaceful protests" got ruined by violence and that all the shootings and arsons were done by CIA agents to justify bringing in the troops.
Right now, Jenny Durkin is gloriously twisting in the wind hoping this all just goes away, because it took her office 48 hours to acknowledge the CHAZ/CHOP shootings happened, and the way she talks about it, it's clear she hasn't gone down there and taken a look herself, preferring to call it a "block party" and pretend everything is fine....
The instant Federal troops she DIDN'T ask for move in, everyone on team blue will absolve her and the lies that it was all just a peaceful protest become official history. It will go away if Trump moves in, his "threat" to do it was only so people like Durkin would get defensive and say the exact stupid shit they did because the TDS in them says you gotta own Trump at every possible point.
Maybe Trump looks bad, but team blue looks worse, considering Creepy Joe sided with the rioters.
People have been letting mid-level mayors and governors skate by on dumb/destructive policy for too long by just assuming some massive top-down Federal response will fix it all, and while my initial knee-jerk reaction was the same as yours, on retrospect, nothing's gonna get them out if they can just dodge the blame. And if people STILL vote for them, they get what they deserve, there's only so much effort I'll put into trying to help a man who is dead-set on suicide and turns down any offer of help.
People have to realize that ultimately just voting for ONE person every FOUR years isn't ENOUGH to fix all your problems.

Trump is only as strong as the various city mayors and state governors. This is one of those "local cop vs FBI agent trying to take over the investigation" juristictional fights; only in this case the feds really need to take point. I'm sure local businesses and residents aren't amused by the fact they're pawns in a fight against the president; but I am doubtful it'll cost any politician a job.
