So if the segregationists back in the day responded with

"A stupid nigger shouts "Black Power"
We all know that just ain't right
Let's put them black apes in their places
& keep all the power White!"

And were prepared to back up those words they would still have held onto that to this day?
Incidentally those lyrics are from some guy from the "Segregation Hit Parade" calling himself Colonel Sharecropper, so between that and the anti-integration mobs that formed it's safe to say that many segregationists did respond this way.

Or just point out that black on white crime is much more frequent than the opposite.

No, but it wouldn't be any fault of the segregationists. The system began to be stacked against them in the 1960s and 70s. Never forget that desegregation had to be enforced at gunpoint and encoded into law undemocratically.

Seeing the police come and disperse the crowd trying to topple Andrew Jackson gave me some joy. I've been wondering when the lefty politicians were going to start to understand that letting this shit go on won't serve them well. I wasn't thinking that things would die down on their own, or because of the police, but because the people who let this happen would decide it has run its course. It's like no one ever learns that Golems always turn on you.

During the Cultural Revolution in China, Mao brought an end to the Red Guards destruction by banishing them all to the farms after they got too big for their pull-ups. They beat up people, disowned and sold out their families, destroyed cultural artifacts en masse, and dug up tombs and corpses to desecrate and denounce the dead by burning and defiling them. Then they all got to go starve to death. Equality achieved.

I think it's just the desire to see people actually get punished to make all the toeing the line you've done your whole life feel worthwhile. At least it's that way for me. I mean, I followed the rules because I took that as important, but then watching so much senseless destruction being allowed stirs up a moral outrage that would be quelled by seeing some retribution...
