The truth is starting to be revealed about the recent popularization of the Karen meme.

It used to just be about poking some fun at the over bearing annoying soccer mom types and/or the easily upset middle aged women who wants to always speak to the manager.

But now its just a way for melanated individuals to seek revenge against white people by targeting the exact demographic that bows down for them, the eternal affluent white female liberal. They know these women won't fight back and they know no one on either side will help them when they have their life ruined.

I know this is preaching to the crowd, but, H-1Bs directly crater US IT wages. Companies bring H-1Bs in, and they're effectively indentured servants. They are not allowed to quit and seek employment elsewhere (there's a gentlemen's agreement that companies will not hire H-1Bs away from other companies), and if they are ever fired, they lose their chance at citizenship. Basically, they get paid shit (but better than India), are treated like shit, and can never leave because the company effectively owns them.

What Amazon et all are really terrified of is not being able to fire some American making 6 figures and replace him with someone making $12 / hr living in a company provided studio apartment.

At the same time, actual Americans and not imported streetshitter slaves have to compete with the streetshitters for who will do the most IT work for the least money.

Speaking of company provided apartment, I used to know a whole family that was forced by the company that helped them get their H1B job to live in one of a few expensive appartments. It wasn't provided though, it was just a moderate discount on rent that was already too expensive. Because they were paying so much for the expensive area they lived in they could never get ahead. The wife had an anchor baby and either kicked the man out or he left, and according to hints from her, may have joined some sort of gang a few towns over.

I just thought it was really messed up that they weren't allowed to live where they wanted, and the husband seemed to be working over 60 hours a week.
