In the Russian revolution all churches were closed and re-purposed or destroyed. Priests were murdered by the thousand and millions of Christians were genocided.

When the Chinese commies invaded Tibet they destroyed thousands of monasteries and brutally tortured and murdered tens of thousands of Buddhist monks.

the protests at the local police station has become almost entirely white:

it was mostly black one of the cops, hit a black drive by shooting suspect with their car and the protestants demanded the cop be fired.

the chief fired him.

so things were peaceful for a bit, low turn out.

then white guys tried to paint black lives matters in the street, and cops arrested them.

and now theyre back to protesting, but the crowd is white as snow, theyre blocking the road and you can hear black drivers swear at the white protestors as they get detoured by the cops.

with the other video of a black mom screaming at a white protestor for making her late to work, i assume whites are turning off blacks to the protests.

To add: I don’t think it’s a poorly designed study. But I also don’t think they account for the fact that 70 COVID-19 testing sites were destroyed in cities where riots happened, that you can still get up to 40% false positives 4-5 days after infection, and ppl can be contagious up to 10 days after symptoms resolve.

The cut-off date for the data was June 20th, 3 weeks and 5 days after the start of the first protests. The bottom line is that it is way too uncontrolled and way too soon to really tell. Not sure if these academics are rushing to get props or for political reasons, or both.

Also, incubation period is not necessarily 2 weeks, so a lot of what the media attributes to Memorial Day could still be from protests. There’s no way to really know for sure. At best, the cases that would have been infected were all traded for cases of protestors.

But common sense prevails; it is impossible that the protests were anything but disastrous for the case load.
