I had this on in the background while it was live and you could tell from Tim's voice in the lead up to his rant that he was getting absolutely pissed. I don't watch every video Tim does, and I assuredly find a lot of his takes to fit that "milquetoast fence-sitter" moniker he likes to use, but it's been so satisfying to watch him get more and more angry at how things are going in the last several months. I'm glad he said the fuck word too. You don't hear him say it at all and it only cemented how absolutely pissed he was.

This is the sort of anger I wish was more acceptable nowadays, instead of this bullshit where you physical beat people or destroy property. Words are violence and violence isn't.

I've definitely found myself more angry about all of this.

I can go to work and hear coworkers talking under their breath about hating all cops, or loudly shittalking any white person who shows up and does something they don't like. Like, "oh that white lady was such a rude bitch" is fine, but they ignore or at least refuse to say anything about any other race. It used to feel like everyone was going insane, but nowadays I think it's all for clout and they just want to hear people agree with them.

Given the age of these people it makes me wonder about Gen-Z and how fucked they've been by a life always on social media

I was pretty much where Tim was on guns previously and I'm now right alongside him. When I get the cash I'm investing in a gun, and some proper training for it. I was one of those mentally ill types who was afraid of guns "because of what I might do to myself", but the entire thing stemmed from me not dealing with my issues. I did and here we are.

edit: Also, having had that mindset, maybe someone shoulda just let me have a gun so I could kill myself. If it was all fear and I don't, then cool, lesson learned, if I killed myself, then cool one less mentally deranged person advocating stupid positions.

Bernie seems more closer to the middle in terms of a lot of policies then Biden. Biden is an establishment democrat who seems more in for gun control, Obama health care, environment policies and so on. He is an absolute party canidate with little wiggle room. Bernie has the extreme health care and college policies, but that seems to be it. He takes more moderate stances on everything else. If I was to make a scale of establishment left to establishment right Trump and Bernie would likely be placed at the 50% marks between the middle and the end. That is why I believe the crossover between Bernie and Trump happens, both seem to be the closest to the middle for their respective parties, they just have those 1-2 policies that are on the far side

What set Bernie back is the influx of leftist politics influenced by the college student generation. And he claims to be anti-establishment but endorsed Hillary and Biden after he lost the primaries. There's speculation that he was even cheated from the 2016 election by Hillary Clinton and/or the DNC.
