The Reddit /pol/ - A Kiwi Farms Lab Report

Based on both of my experiences from TDS & TES, I would say for the most part, they treat me well.

What I learned about the TDS thread is that we're supposed to laugh at the multitude of people that hate the man enough of insanity. What I learned from the TES thread is that it provides an outlet to express grievances about Donald Trump with likeminded people.

Although I feel more at home at the TES thread, the lack of content prevents it from developing popularity like the TDS thread. Maybe that's a good thing. There are a few people on the TDS thread that celebrate the man to the point of whiteknighting for Trump any chance they get.

While this might be a problem, the solution is simple; only give people moderation powers if they will enforce the law in a neutral manner. This is why Null is the best person to run the site, he is entirely apolitical in how he runs it, and he also focuses the site away from destructive political discussion. If he goes then I don't believe this site will last very long without losing its soul, or original purpose.

Now, of course, neutral moderation doesn't defend against vicious dogpiles, but I believe that enough people here are smart enough to properly engage a good argument when they see one.

Null said that Kiwifarms has become "an empire" in how it has united these different groups. In order for there to be internal peace it is an imperative to keep groups separate, for their own good.

Most of the good content on TES is from r/the_donald. It doesn't matter what your political ideology is, if you stay on plebbit for too long, you will become a massive faggot.

Most of the time something gets deleted in the farms is less "YOU SHUT UP, YOU ARE WRONG" and more like pulling your cock out too early at the swingers party because you overdid the weed and girls say "Dude, put that away, take the hint".
this is why females should never be given any position of power, they should be beaten and raped until they learn to respect the cock instead. femoids are not capable of appreciating freedom, they just want to be provided for and told what to do by a strong man. the final solution to the janny problem is to move KF to the darkweb so we wouldn't need to have any moderation. if Josh actually cared about free speech he would immediately get rid of any janny that deletes anything other than illegal content.

I respectfully disagree, though I understand where you are coming from. I think the final solution to the janny proble will come from love. We'll all love each other despite our differences, love ourselves and love the website. With love anything is possible.

Eh, it's always been like that. Back during the Obama/Romney elections I would work for both phone banks in my college town to see what the parties were like. What I learned is the Obama phone banks would pay you and award gift cards hourly where the Romney ones would buy you pizza for dinner on Thursdays. I also picked up the the Obama supporters were very vicious and would openly attack people they called and joke about Romney being creepy and Hitler 2.0. The Romney phone banks were much kinder, and from the 30+ people I met 1 was openly racist and he was often kicked out and another didn't understand why we bothered polling the black community.

The one flaw I see in your quick test is you used reddit, which while R/thedonald is cancerous the people there are the weakest and most non offensive trump supporters you'll find, where as r/real politics can go as rabid left as they want without fear of being banned. So your testing the moderate right against the rabid left, obviousley the ones that get banned for the most mildly offensive comments are going to be cordial and the ones that can tell you to go kill yourself without fear of being reprimanded.

As for the TDS, TES threads TDS is one of the last refuges where you can openly mock the left and not be banned for it so they are bound to be more crazy with their statements and more defensive of orange man for being the lesser of two evils. The mods for the thread are a little nuts but we all know that's because TES can't keep pace and the people their will occasionally go to TDS with John Oliver level takes to feel better and the mods see this as derailing. I think it's necessary to keep it from being an echo chamber and appreciate people like @The Last Stand for posting disagreements, though the riots seemed to of pushed them further right, but the mods see it as derailment and want to keep TDS and TES from going into a thread war. It is dangerous though since it creates an echo chamber and some of the best parts of the TDS thread are when people pick apart arguments or HK brings up sources proving their point wrong.

TL : DR the people who consider themselves right wingers have to be more cordial or society will kick them out, people who associate with the left can be psychotic since it's endorsed by the party and society, and mods are huge faggots just trying their best to tard rangle adults.

Complaining about your deleted post would be pretty autistic if not for the part where you manage to provide an example fucking reddit doing a better job. Quality shitposting. Now fuck off back to reddit.
