OK yeah, someone was pulling numbers out of their ass, that looks much more reasonable

Is 'medical' some kind of goon wordfilter or are these people seriously framing being emotionally triggered as a health hazard?
Bacterial marketing, eh?Seeing Bread and Roses getting recommended as an alternative place in a lot of threads that have nothing to do with the main fora stuff. The MMA thread, for example. There is apparently an MMA thread already on Bread and Roses, which makes sense, as many 'women' (MtF) naturally have a huge interest in fight sports, motor sports, pro wrestling, etc.

Something something dialectic, something something jelly-like slime. It is funny, I just had a "conversation" with a SA goon who tried to defend the removal of statues saying
Troon: all statues are racist and must be torn down because there are a couple bad ones like Jefferson and the people trying to stop it are fascists.
Me: "remember 3 years ago when you called trump a conspiracy theorist for saying that jefferson and washington were next?"
troon: Well jefferson was a terrible person and the statues are being torn down because they represent bad people.
me: " what about Grant, the 54th all black regiment, Lincoln, Cerventes, The polish person who spent his entire fortune freeing and educating blacks and all the other statues?"
Troon: Well you are just bringing up the slippery slope fallacy.
Me: "Isnt that exactly what is going on?"
Troon: Shut up why are we talking about this who brought this up this is a pointless conversation
Me: "you brought this up"
Troon: *crickets*
They seem to have no true faith in their world view once anyone starts challenging it. They are so coddled from birth that the tiniest bump in the road causes them to lose control of everything.
The code leak most servers spawned from was sometime around the late 2000s. The 2016 code leak came after other large codebases had years to develop their own features, and as a result, wasn't as widely adopted as the original gooncodeSpace Station 13 gooncode. The code leak in... I wanna say 2016 is the backbone for the best SS13 servers today.
Danger Mill and the Tesla thread that made national newsI've been wondering, what's the last good thing to come out of Something Awful? The last thing I can remember that was worth anything is Slender Man.
The 2016 leak is what most major servers are based on now I thought. Bay and TG integrated it wholesale, or close enough, and Colonial Marines is based on TG. They simplified a lot of the systems but use the same sprites and for a long time almost all the same atmos and engine code (fastmos came out recently and is almost universally reviled). The code leak most servers spawned from was sometime around the late 2000s. Now that I think of it, I stopped paying attention to SS13 shortly after the Gooncode leak that involved someone attempting to bribe the leaker which I think was the 2016 leak. The 2016 leak is what most major servers are based on now I thought. BrutalistMcDonalds said:Well, I was, and that's why I clicked on a thread about it. And what I saw was definitely weird and troubling. But I really didn't know what to think about it. Like, I don't know the dude or ever thought about his personal life, you know? And not being privy to mod discussions at the time, imagine if the mods had declared rebellion against Lowtax at the time, with the information they had at the time, would rank-and-file goons have followed them? I don't know the answer to that. I think criticism is fair and deserved but there's a kind of power and omniscience that is sometimes imparted to the mods that I don't think they have from what I've seen. Maybe some people would like that but I don't think that's possible. Something Awful in my experience in general is a much more democratic kind of forum than a lot of places on the internet. It's not anarchy like 4chan but it's also not a series of walled, feudal dictatorships like Reddit.

True or not, it's fantastic that the very people Lowtax has tried to kowtow to throughout the last few years have now effectively turned against him in a mutiny.
This reads like absolute insanity, but this is the only real highlight:

What the fuck is so hard about not beating your wife? I mean, if one of his ex-wives had to go to a women's shelter this was a lot more systemic and serious than him slapping them once or twice(not saying that this is okay, but it's a bit more understandable than using someone as a punching bag and less permanently damaging as well) when he was really pissed off, I would assume. How the fuck do you seriously decide to just go full ham on someone smaller and less physically capable than you?
I have no fair weather support for her. I still think shes a crazy whore, but even crazy whores don't deserve to get smacked by a drug addict loser.
I agree though its 50% that he actually did anything to her and 50% her crazy BPD ass is wrecking his life. If only someone had warned him....
P-P-Powerbook and stuff looking back really aren't all that funny.
