I'm going to bet that guy DOES have the same symptoms and problems. Because he's a fucking alcoholic.
My take is that he stuck things so far up his ass he's given himself brain damage.

They meant Zin's dad, I think. My take is that he stuck things so far up his ass he's given himself brain damage.
Remember, Zack has claimed that driving lessons caused him to "depersonalize".

Could be. It's not outside the realm of possibility.
Wait a second, isn't Carlos Maza the guy that sped Steven Crowder called a "lispy faggot" or something?
That means we got aCOW CROSSOVER!

I'm sure the staff love being told how to do their job by a high school dropout.

That's what I'm saying. He has already changed his story several on how functional Heather is.
Zach said:what they did for her merits a gratitude that I’m not even sure how to express.
I can see him bothering and badgering everyone who ever laid eye on Heather though, from the Neurology consultant to the lunch lady. Relatives like him are the worst: they overcompensate their lack of concern of the patient by displaying concern aggressively towards health care people. An hour spent with health care professionals means one fewer hour spending with the patient.I call bullshit. Zinnia can't be double and triple-checking everything and be a lazy, malicious, little shit.
I haven't read many Twitters of patient relatives, but I suspect running commentaries that last for days are unusual. When your life is topsy-turvy because someone had an emergency and you need to take care of her, Twitter would be very far from your mind. That's what I'm saying. He has already changed his story several on how functional Heather is.

Uh, excuse you, don't you mean "acting from a place of depersonalization?"Want to express gratitude? Let them do their fucking jobs. Stop busybodying around medical professionals and “reminding” them about what is going on.
I can appreciate that this is unchartered waters for him, and he’s reacting from a place of anxiety but seriously Zach, leave the staff alone.
This is an extreme situation so perhaps I'm being uncharitable but his expressions of positivity seem a little.. much? I'm wondering who he is trying to convince and of what exactly. Is he afraid and bullying through it with aggressive positivity, or is he just trying to look good by being such a loving, concerned "wife"?
Part of it I chalk up to denial, especially since Zach and reality have a strained relationship. He doesn't want to face the possibility that his meal ticket might cash out and his days of NEETing are over.
The other part is Zach playing it up for Twitter. OH LOOK AT WHAT A GOOD PERSON I AM! I'M HELPING!
The final part is Zach trying to make himself look good to Heather's family, in hopes that if Heather's mom steps in, she'll see Zach as the dutiful, concerned wife, and let him leech off of her instead of kicking the parasite to the curb.
