goons showing their fiscal expertise by believing that SA LLC has been sold and transferred to a new owner within 24 hours. Lowtax isn't selling his website now if he didn't do it when people were offering him 15 million dollars or whatever similar amount was thrown around when ebaumsworld got sold. Lowtax is most likely just fucking with him.

The alternative is Jeffery is the new front man and lowtax gives him a cut of the money or something, but neither of them are competent enough to put that together on a moment's notice, so its more likely the former.

They're already talking about wanting transparency.

I'm pretty sure they don't expect to be told how other business owners they deal with spend their income, and there's no good reason why Jeffrey should give them that information. SA is a for profit business, not a charity.

Not for nothing. Jeffrey says Lowtax will not receive "any sort of continuing revenue," which implies a lump sum payment.

Of course, before Jeffrey swooped in, goons were claiming they would not condone another single dollar going to Lowtax. But, good news: when push comes to shove, goons don't have much in the way of genuine morals or principles (as evidenced by how they treated Ashli, among many other examples), so it won't matter in the end as long as they can keep shitposting.

I've been an SA member since the days when the forums were piss-yellow and free to join. This kind of thing was always bound to happen and I'm surprised it took as long as it did. Like someone said earlier in this thread, the forums were at their best somewhere in the years between 2003 and 2010, but then the infection of brainworms spread. A generational shift brought on more and more people, who are incapable of any humor that isn't steeped in nihilism and politics. Most of the old content creators had the good sense to leave early and those that stayed, got pulled in to the bullshit. Even if Jeff can make the transfer of ownership happen, I'll give him six months at most, before the allegations of wrongthink begin and the drama kicks off again.

I'm not sure why because I jumped to the end of it, but the last few pages of the "Lowtax accused" thread are full of goon meet/con photos.
