Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Goons are going to demand proof lowtax isn’t getting money. There’s already a lot of skepticism that lowtax won’t be getting money on the low. If the deal goes through the new owner could just give money directly to lowtax’ ex wives.
Is that some fantasy goons have? Can you imagine the divorce judge trying to wrap his head around this. So, Mr. Tax, you gave/sold your business to some internet people. Those Internet people now own the business but give the profits to your ex-wives? wtf?

Lot easier to sign ownership of SA over to Ashlii and Megan (or put it in his daughters’ names). Lot easier too sense they are in the same town as Lowtax and his bank accounts. Then they can pay some goons to actually upgrade and run the forums properly (lol) and any profits after that go to the kids. Ex-wives can be absentee landlords and goons can run it.

It will never happen. The power hungry mods finally see their chance at being the new Lowtax and getting paid to be goons. They aren’t going to give shit to his “victims” for all their current hand wringing. Maybe a token fundraiser of other goons money.

This is chance some dedicated goons have waited years for, the opportunity to grab the brass ring. The fights about who gets any ownership/revenue and power will be epic. Crabs in a barrel times 10. But I highly doubt Lowtax will turn over anything tied to revenue streams SA produces.

There's no way Lowtax can keep his revenue stream going in the background.

If I were him I would cut off the server suddenly and while it was down change out all of the admin/mod passwords or delete the accounts out of the database, then unban a huge chunk of the banned users and hope some of them come back to post. Just make the forums a free for all and sell ad space and upgrades. A hostile takeover of his own site that will catch the internet janitors flatfooted.

He's too lazy to do anything like that, though.

Maoists love to destroy things and people, they get off on it, even if it means fouling their own nest.
I’d love for Lowtax to cancel all admin and mod privledges, red pill, total free speech. Burn the echo chamber to the ground by inviting a /pol forum invasion. (The online version of burning and looting a town).

The amount of cognitive dissonance it must take to call Something Awful a "political safe space" makes me wonder if everyone on that site are all sheltered trust fund kids.

"I'm so woke that I lie on a dying "comedy" forum about getting tear gassed by cops to support people whom are nothing more than black Confederates for woke points on said almost dead troon safe space forum."

I agree, It's a safe place for mentally ill people who shout about Nazis and TRANSPHOBIA!!! in every single thread. That's not a "safe space", it's a nut house.

Someone posted on SA a couple of days ago that they'd be willing to give lowtax $150,000 for Something Awful. I think that seems fair, since the Patreon was yielding 100k a year and could do so again with some luck and the right marketing. So if Jeffrey's offer to Lowtax was realistic, it must be at least a couple hundred thousand. If that's true, it will be great watching the goon mental contortions as they talk themselves into believing that giving a golden parachute to Lowtax is the woke thing to do.

It's also possible that Jeffrey offered a much lower amount, and Lowtax will ultimately tell him to fuck off and just burn down the forums in some zany way.

giving away or selling on the cheap your business/revenue stream is going to get torn into in divorce proceedings.

He might be under some kind of injunction preventing him from it, I'm no leonard crabs but if he sells to jeffery or whoever I wonder if there's some way that sale isn't actually legally binding?

Does anyone think any top goons can get together six figures to give to Lowtax?

Im sure there are some goons and others out there that might make a cash offer for SA, but none of the current big name idiots in this drama or any jannies could cough up real money to buy SA.

It would be stupid for Lowtax and his family to sell it off or give it to some “dedicated goons that love the community” for cheap. If he’s going to get rid of SA he has to sell it to the highest offer, but to do that though he would have to open all the books and accounting which I’m sure are a fucking mess. Good luck to anyone looking for any bank financing to show that shit as an asset.

Lowtax has just used SA as a personal piggy bank for twenty years. The fact he leased a sports car under the SA LLC tells you all you need to know about how he’s run things. Wonder what kind of debts are attached to it? You damn well know Lowtax has been ordering Gold Belly on the SA credit card. You think Lowtax has payroll set up for himself? Lol. I bet SA LLC pays his McMansion rent too.

Does Jeffery hope goons will crowd fund buying him a website? Lol. How about they form the SA corporation and have goons buy stock in it?

Its all a fucking goon pipe dream. There’s no reason for Lowtax to get rid of SA unless someone pays him a reasonable lump sum for it. Goons will then be crowd funding a big check for an abuser and they can’t have that.

Im really excited to see how this newest cluster fuck will play out. To pass the purity litmus test of SA goons the only solution is Lowtax donating the forums to a goon collective to run as a huge SJW commune with troons and POC in charge, and that will never happen.

Lowtax is just going to stall for awhile dangling the carrot of handing over SA while he tries to figure out a way to fix this or sell SA to someone with legitimate money and bad intentions.

I‘m really hoping Lowtax goes on the Dick show, mounts his defense against psycho bitches and then invites all the dickheads to join the forums. Mount a hostile takeover of his own forums.

This would only work if Lowtax actually turns off the cost of buying new accounts for a few days or so.

Usually you have to pay a mercenary army so just turning off the $10 feature seems like a no brainer for his purposes. Im pretty sure the dickheads would all jump at the chance to invade such a sacred internet safe space.

Take SA to old school Lord of the Flies forum rules.

Bending to the purity and tone police destroyed SA. He might as well try to take the opposite approach and see if he can salvage anything, he‘s got nothing to lose now.

Assuming any of this is real (that it's not another Richard pledge that goes nowhere, and that the money actually exists or gets raised somehow) isn't it just going to be seized by the IRS and Missouri Department of Revenue? Anything that involves passing a transfer through a real bank and not online funbux that the government doesn't understand has to be subject to liens to pay Notax's arrears, right? There really shouldn't be any concern about enRicharding the abuser here (though an entertaining conversation about the Evil Imperalist U.S. getting the money may take place on a few subforums??)

Yeah, shes probably still waiting for the call from HR where she is formally terminated (lol)

Missouri is at-will employment and I think we all know there isn't anything on paper about her "job" with the current SA regime, though that doesn't mean she can't make claims about the circumstances of her dismissal and tie the new owners up in court for a bit if she feels like it. Or they can make a nominal offer to keep her on staff since allegedly this is all to defend her, but that means the Lowtax-related drama will never go away.

Is 'gaming garbage' a something awful thing or lowtax's own project? I know separating the two is a bit arbitrary but I wouldn't have assumed this YouTube channel and the patreon would be included in any deal.
