On a more serious note, this is happening in Richmond, which saw some of the bloodiest riots in the first week of this whole mess outside of the Twin Cities and NYC.

The same city that helped kick off the tearing down of Confederate monuments (since it was the old capital of the CSA) in all this. The same city that is the capital of the one Southern state that has more or less completely flipped blue on the federal level, with a Democrat-controlled governor's office and state legislature.

Now the Richmond Police Department is going all out on these rioters, stopping just short of using live ammunition...

Something tells me this is getting serious enough that the neoliberals are fed up with the far left and no longer see them as useful.

Maybe the DNC and their corporate donors really are preparing to cut the line on BLM and Antifa?

Im thinking since its General Robert E. Lee who served in the US Army before going to the Confiderates the order issued by Trump to enforce federal laws protecting Statues of US Vets is what caused the Commonwealth of Virginia to start enforcing laws.

Opinions on the Confederate Army aside, the graves and monuments of Confederate soldiers are legally considered monuments for US veterans under federal law, especially if they're part of property that is registered as a historic site or on federal property.

Virginia has more Civil War battlefields and monuments than any other state and the bulk of the Eastern Theater was fought there. It's possible this may have something to do with Trump's new executive order.

if the police were abolished theyd protest self defense cases as racist while ignoring increased crime, if people just laid down and died in indifference to the cartoonish world then theyd protest that no one is helping the system move along. i think they actually are aware of this since they themselves call the police whenever they encounter an issue that the black people around also panic over like serial killers
