I've heard of it happening, honestly. In this case it honestly can be either or though. All I know about her is surface stuff; Vain, overly emotional, low self esteem, obviously mentally ill. It's a good recipe to try to initiate sexual intimacy with your therapist I guess if we want to speculate on if they fucked at all.
Some therapists certainly do try fuck or date clients. Did she actually report this therapist for assault? I mean, she just said Lowtax told her too, not that she actually did it. Rather important she report a therapist assaulting vulnerable patients. Far more important than reporting old Lowtax for abuse. Needs to report him to the Utah licensing board as well.
What makes me question it is the timing and result. She had been long distance e-flirting with Lowtax for some time. She was the secret emotional affair, flirting with her e-hero and sending him tit shots regularly. But Lowtax was still living with his wife and kid in Missouri. She was just an invisible side piece and at risk of remaining that way.
Suddenly there is a dramatic crisis - her therapist assaults her. Lowtax has to pull it out of her, between tears and concerning behavior. He immediately buys a plane ticket and rushes to her side to console her, support her and have lots of sex with her. In fact he “supports her” for three weeks. in a hotel room.
The incident finally got Lowtax to come to her side and start a real physical relationship which resulted in his wife leaving him. It’s just all very convenient.
A therapist may well have done some shady shit. But just as likely it was a crisis manufactured to get what she wanted - Lowtax to come to her rescue and public recognize her. Manufacturing a dramatic crisis requiring a love interest rush to their rescue immediately (and stay) is a top five tactic for BPD women manipulating a guy. It’s right up there with suicide threats and pregnancy scares. This is why I give it a 50/50 chance of being true.
(Therapists deciding to creep on a young attractive unstable female patient who talks a big game of sexual bravado and having a high sex drive is also rather common)
I’ll have to check the thread tomorrow but she referred to her therapist a number of time in posts in Nov-January. Going to far as to say a therapist told her she was definitely cured of BPD. Was that a new therapist or the old rapey one? She totally wiped her FB of all posts between Sept 2019 and Christmas, so this thread will have the only record of it.
