The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

The original game had an "Ellie Edition" and a "Joel Edition", this trashfire only has an "Ellie Edition". Do you think they'll have the balls to release an "Abby Edition", even though it would probably end up being a failure?

What would the bonus items be? I was gonna say lube, but...

While I see your point in that zombies lose their zest once you get used to them, you lost me comparing this with RE. The thing with RE is that they went the outlandish and campy route. Mister X worked, so they brought Nemesis/The Pursuer. That worked, so they made Wesker the Terminator. That worked (sort of) so then they made the plagas, and so on, and for each boss came more outlandish and nonsensical mutations, and eventually we got boulder punching and COMPLETE GLOBUHL SATU-RAY-SHUNNN!!!

I would curb all that shit and try to keep it as grounded in reality as it possibly could be to have humans and other vertebrates infected by parasite shrooms. That means no "speshul" infected, because that kind of thing isn't real. There can be hints of a hive mind, and of higher brain patterns, but there is no reaching out to infected as a society; the one thing these fungi have in common is that once it blows up the host is gone.

ETA: I have nothing against RE and I know it's not supposed to be hard science or anything like that, and a lot of those nonsensical stuff is pretty cool. I'm just comparing it to the first TLOU game in particular and a hypothetical more grounded approach that could have been. It's obvious someone did some research and it's obvious that Uck-ma'am was not the one that did it.

I personally found the Necromorphs to be consistently disturbing despite not really changing over the course of the trilogy (except end boss in 3). The Clickers could also follow this concept by remaining mostly the same with small, reserved permutations to the formula. It could be an alteration to their behaviour, or the AI being reworked to react in unexpected ways. I'm assuming they've instead fallen to the wayside as antagonists to make way for those dang, dirty gamers -I mean, crazy religious alt-right LGBT haters.

I¨m bacc after many months just to say that this game sucks big zombie balls and Neil Druckmann is a fucking hack. Damn it, I miss when shitty media was shitty because the creator failed at making something good, not being bad on purpouse to be le big subversive like this exceptional waste of crunch explotation.

Everyone that finishes this game always seems so defeated and done.
I skipped to the drowning part because I thought he would drop a fucking bomb when Ellie would stop choking Abby but I got to the finger part. You can't snap fingers off like that with human teeth, especially not with you front teeth. I know because I remember seeing the same thing in TWD season 3 and I thought it was fishy and researched it. Biting fingers would hurt a lot and draw blood easily but yeah no you'd need to break the bones and chew through hard to chew stuff like a fucking savage. Even if they are small, the bones in your fingers aren't fucking baby carrots.

And now it's the second time I've noticed something straight out of TWD in TLOU2. If he gets inspiration from garbage tv shows no wonder he doesn't know how to write a proper story.

Does TLOU media ever talk about what is happening in other continents? The obvious question is "what about Australia and NZ?". Island countries would be faring better, you would think...
Can the mushroom zombies swim? If they can't, island nations who shut down air and sea traffic early, like Singapore, would be safe.

If so, what's preventing people from just hopping on a boat and just go from human settlement to human settlement?

Watching a LP of this game, people react to their dogs dying like they just stepped in dog shit, so much for making me feel bad about it. I'm having a hard time believing that Tommy got his ass whooped by senator Abby in like 3 seconds whereas Ellie has a prolonged melee with them.

Abbystrong can easily take down any man, but woman are able to put up a fight, even pregnant women.

Are these the same people who say "anime games are for immature teenagers" or whatever? Because I've seen revenge bad/cycle of violence stories and plots in every 3rd or 4th weeby JRPG that I play. Just because you use expensive mo cap, realistic graphics, and more ruthless edgy violence doesn't make it more mature or intelligent. Revenge by itself isn't a strong theme in video games, it is probably one of the more cliche themes that I see these days.
