Each style of interview when it comes to Ron has its own pros and cons. I'm not sure if I can say one method is definitely better than the other. As long as he does not get scared off or ragequit, Ron is good at making a fool of himself without much help anyway. Let him talk or hear him desperately try to dodge questions, it gets similar results, in my opinion. He reveals how much of a snively little weasel he is.
I wonder how Monica will feel when it comes to Ron's trash talk about Bieber. Does he not know Monica and Jamie are fans and support Bieber? I just found the rant a bit funny because of that. Of course Ron is going to do anything he can to make it sound like suing people that slander you is the worst thing you can do. We've already gone down the apology route and have learned that apologies don't fix anything anymore. He fails to understand the point of settlement. It isn't to drag things out... It isn't to silence people. It is to come to a compromise between parties.
As usual, Ron doesn't specify things. Everyone he personally knows has had a "negative" experience with Vic. It is an unfair thing to say since everyone is going to go through negative experiences with others in their life. I've had negative experiences with my friends, but I don't go posting it all over social media to make them look bad. He should go into more detail about this. How many ladies had their hair pulled by Vic? How many women did Vic attempt to rape? Or are 99% of these negative experiences people had with Vic is that they couldn't stand Vic talking about his love of God?
Speaking of experiences with Vic... Ron says there's a process when it comes to revealing who the "100 women" are. Yes, Ron... Discovery. You had your chance to reveal that when it was requested by Vic's council for you to identify the 100 women you were talking about. Are they all people you personally know? Or was the majority anonymous online users that have no verifiable identity? The biggest issue we have with your claims is that there is no way to verify your sources of the claims in the first place.
Ron continues to be adamant that suing for defamation is the wrong answer. But he doesn't seem to know what the right answer is. People are having their lives uprooted for things people are bringing up online. Most of the time it is about something they did like 10 years ago. Ron says people should have their redemption arc, but how does one do that when they are getting destroyed over something that happened 10 years ago. Perhaps it was a one off thing and the person doesn't exhibit that behavior anymore... should they still get cancelled? Because this is where the major issue is, people are being attacked for things they have done in the past that they don't seem to do anymore. So why should they be punished for prior mistakes that already appear to have been remedied? Sexual assault accusations are different because these are crimes and everyone should have their chance to prove their innocence.
It is a scary line of thinking to say it is okay to let people say whatever they want. Social media is more prevalent and simply cannot be ignored anymore. It does damage people by making them lose their jobs, sponsorships, profit, etc. How can it be ignored when it does creep into your real life? How does one ignore it when you apologize and things don't seem to change? Getting a new job will be tougher because if you have had a career for a long time, it is hard to jump into something new because of a lack of experience. Getting into the same kind of job will be harder because of the controversy that surrounds you. Ron's answer is to just work door to door. Sure. I'm sure that's a sustainable lifestyle. Let's also add the competition from all the other people who lost their jobs from online defamation... I'm sure that will go well.
Ron realizes China's social score is to control people, right? There isn't a way to have "a score so high they won't have control over you anymore". That's not the point of the score. If you agree and love this concept of being rated as a good person by being a yes man for the goverment... Go pack up and move to China.
