I think people fake this stuff, yes. I know authentic people who are trans because I work with them in therapy groups, and those who are not and just playing around with "identity" because they think they can.

I think people within privilege use different ways to use minorities, and thus blow them out of proportion and make them worse than they actually are.

I think the benign cases just LARP because of shame. Which is sad. You shouldn't have to change your identity to feel accepted, and this is what being "cuckolded" looks like.

I would just simply tell those people not to internalize all of this shit: none of this is about them, technically speaking.

I remember creating an account for a mmo subreddit almost ten years ago. There was a login issue with the game and I politely suggested that the developers implement an afk timer to log people out should they remain idle for too long; giving other people a chance when they're ready to play. Sure as shit, my post was downvoted by all the poopsockers until it disappeared. That was the last time I used reddit. The irony is that the developers implemented an afk timer to deal with the problem anyway. Reddit is just plain terrible.

I get the suspicion that this is by design. Major platforms ban the most publicly undesirable people first, who then flock and overwhelm the best alternatives. Those alternatives then get blasted for upholding their free speech policies and not banning the undesirables, thus tainting their brand image and becoming unappealing to the public.
So in the end you must either become undesirable yourself, or bow down to the same policies that the major platforms are implementing and become a cog in the machine.

If I understand the left's logic, if I upped and moved to China, I couldn't be racist against the Chinese because from the top down China is run by Chinese. And while there are plenty of examples of Han Chinese benefiting from systemic privilege (compared to minority groups in the country), there doesn't seem to be any case of whites benefiting under the CCP. Thus I would not have privilege in China's society that Han Chinese do, thus I can't be racist against them.

Yup. The site itself, like this one does sometimes apparently, creates a hive mind. The idea is the site is built for discussion, but in reality it is for people who want to have the same opinions but hear them in different voices. Kind of the point of subreddits being able to be created by anybody and have like minded people join. I think the real problem is reddit extremely pushes that in the communities itself. Awhile back people on the "against hate subreddits" subreddit were posting lolicon on pew die pies sub to try and get it banned because he said fucking nigger. They tried hard to get the donald banned by posting subjects calling for murder of blacks and jews, and the users were banned and the posts automodded, but, they somehow got a screenshot of it to post on their sub. They become he thing they hate to prove you should hate it. Like someone coming here to say we should kill trannies so they can justify we should be banned for wanting to kill trannies.
