That is going to be a major issue in about 10-15 years due to the overwhelming use of PrEP by turbosults. Most of these turbosluts are not the most responsible people in the world and anti-retro virals require consistent use to remain effective. In the healthcare field, if one gets exposed to an HIV+ patient, they need to go on PrEP and have constant testing. But these turbosluts pay no attention to the fact they are exposing themselves to a crippling and potentially deadly virus.

Even if PrEP is constantly taken, their is a risk of viral resistance. Basically, ever cock you take could be someone with a strain that is resistant to the specific PrEP you are on. I believe in about 10-15 years a new multi-drug resistant strain of HIV will become endemic to the gay population. Okay I just had a conversation where I had to change the subject because I was getting nauseous.
An old friend and I were talking about the couple defending their home, and he said, "But what do those people do?" and I said, "They're lawyers" and he said "Yes but what kind of cases do they take? Do they defend cops in brutality cases or..?" I blinked a bunch and just pointed out a video where it shows the riot zombies walking up on the property, showing that they were NOT on public land, and told him that whichever side you want to take in this, at least look at how it actually happened, not just the tiny clips the news is showing.

That was the case in the 90s and early 2000s. Gays made jokes about how they didn't want to suffer like straight people do, and moved on. Hell, I've been watching Spin City again and the gay black character makes a joke about it in the first couple of episodes, and that was 1996 or so I believe. Even Milo (as much as I can't stand him) made jokes about it within the past few years because most gay men never had any intention of settling down with one guy forever and thought it was stupid. It was a vocal minority that pushed for it, by all accounts I've heard.

What have any of our tax dollars gone to for anything in this country? Some areas benefit from it, some don't, but at the federal level we get fucking nothing, no matter what race you are. Your vote doesn't matter, paying into the system doesn't matter (especially considering social security will be out for most of us), and being a part of the normal system doesn't even work anymore. The issue with BLM is the oversimplification and obvious earmark ideologies they're tagging onto the whole thing, like tranny rights, or Marxist utopias coming from giving black people everything white people had.

Simple fact is that everyone has suffered under late stage capitalism, except those at the very top. It's trite to say, and obviously Occupy Wallstreet was a joke in many ways, but focusing on the class war and the reduction of the middle class was their best bet. There's next to nothing left, which is why this little community hidden away on KF has gone on so long. Basically everywhere is censored, shut down, or not welcome. We're just "tolerated" for the most part here, too.
