It's definitely not just you. I consider myself a moderate and I've gone from not liking Trump but still wanting him to win because he maintains the balance to unironically supporting him. I joked to an American friend I should illegally immigrate so I can vote for him.

I went from "hey if neither side likes him at worst he's ineffectual at best he gets good changes." He's done some good things, some bad things, but the reaction to him from the Democrats and Romney-types has put me solidly on his side for the sole reason that he makes them mad.
