Is Phil still dumping cash into this post bankrupcty? i see he's still posting but i was wondering if he still plays?

Even his paypigs and mods have in large part accepted that it's him. They make jokes and memes out of it in his chat.

Which is why it's so stupid that Phil clings to his lie. Like I've said before, there is nothing he can do now to thwart what I assume he fears, which is further tarnishing of his rep. That ship sailed away months ago. He cannot stop the fact that he's going to his grave being known for (among many other things that are just as bad) wasting $40k on a mobile game. Literally no one will be even attempting to dismiss or counter that part of his story after he dies. And even if they did, they would/will not succeed.

The only explanation that makes sense is that Phil simply finds it too painful to admit on camera that detractors won. He can accept it being something everyone else acknowledges, but he can't say the words himself, in front of everyone. He's not enough of a man to do that.

If you're one of the many year subs still donating to him, you know by now that he is a scummy piece of shit and have shown that it doesn't matter what he does, you will not stop supporting him.

He has a small group of extremely dedicated fans of his that keep him afloat and wouldn't stop doing so if he spat in their faces and slept with their wives. Why? Who knows...

It's the one anomaly that prevents me from being 100% dismissive of pigroach luck. Everything else has a more logical explanation to it if you step back and release any emotional investment in a particular outcome. But the wheelchairs? Not even I can deny that their unfailing support of him is the embodiment of the pigroach luck meme.

Point being he can admit it and nothing will change financially for him. I guarantee silentbob, battleduck, and planet jeff, and the other dipshits will be there next stream dropping $100's on him like normal.

If anything, he would make more money due to an increase in troll tipping from all the idiots giving him a dollar to not even read the insults they can, and do, already direct at him.

There's nothing from TheyCallMeDSP after the post looking for a faction. Before his post and after his post was just talk about the game. Nothing to add to "NonPhils" comments or anyone bringing him up after the frist time.

One of the few examples of Phil learning from mistakes, and of course it's tied to a not-so-secret hobby of his that he lies about, rather than to anything that would at least make his streams more bearable.

Short answer: Yes, he's no doubt still funneling cheerssubsandtips money into oily gifs.

Long answer: He's addicted to this money pit, and it is the only thing anymore that gives him an iota of clout. His days of being the numbah one usrankedsuperturbo player are gone, he isn't good at anything else except for eating fast food and bilking tards for their disability bux, so dumping ludicrous amounts of cash into a game where it's literally pay to win. He doesn't play any game for enjoyment anymore, not even this bejeweled ripoff with bodybuilders punching each other in the dick. The only way he'll stop playing is when scopely shutters their doors or they stop supporting the game entirely. And even then, he'll just find the next gacha game to whale in for e-clout.

It goes to show just how much Phil doesn't consider scamming money from dumbasses to qualify him as successful the fact that he needs a mobile game to dump that money into for the feeling of being successful.

Speaking of which, I know he started using that word in his early days on YouTube, but I wonder how far back it really goes with him? Were any of his teachers in elementary school "detractors"? Wouldn't be surprised, and it would explain a lot.
It's a really interesting question since literally everyone else with a hate following just calls them by the first term that comes to most people's minds - haters. Detractors is just such a weird word to use to call your hate following.

It is, in fact these days I'm pretty sure it's yet another thing we can chalk up to Phil having the brain of an autistic 12 year-old, because it's so specifically chosen, and really not at all the kind of choice an actual adult would make. Not to mention the fact that Phil literally doesn't think he has ever done a thing wrong in his life, and "detractor" is something I can easily see him having taken all of two seconds to come up with the first time anyone "unfairly" criticized him, which HAD to have been many years before his start even in the FGC, let alone YouTube. This is Phil we're talking about, after all. His obnoxiousness is not new, and neither is his refusal to accept it when someone points out that he's being a shit.

I charted it a few pages back. He's been playing at the same, roughly constant rate during and after his bankruptcy.

Way to NOT make yourself look like a gacha fiend, Phil.

I know that nothing will happen given we all found out how useless they are at checking things, but if he say he spent all the money on mobile games, would he not also be publicly admitting his bankruptcy was fraudulent?

Even if he was, I seriously doubt he's aware of that. Besides, the only people who would give a shit about it are the kind who can only lash out at him by leaving nasty comments on detractor videos, and/or posting in places like KiwiFarms. If he knows what he would be doing, he knows that it won't harm him because the system just doesn't have it out for him like it should.

but if he say he spent all the money on mobile games, would he not also be publicly admitting his bankruptcy was fraudulent?
We don't know what he told Nancy. He may very well have been up-front about how much he spends on gacha, and convinced her that it's a legitimate business expense. Given the low level of due diligence exercised by all parties involved, this probably would have worked.

That's most likely what he did, but by admitting to his fans he's been hiding it, he's also admitting it was just for his own personal use and not a business expense.

I've said this before, but this is entirely a pride thing at this point. It may not cost him paypigs if he admits it, but... it might. So there's no real incentive to do it and take on that risk when there are no current consequences.

The problem is if he does admit it, he admits to bankruptcy fraud. Not that there will be legal ramifications, but it means that narratively, we're not the bad guys on this one - he is.
And it is an admission that we have been right for years about the biggest allegation that has dogged Phil - that he's a scammer who has systematically been lying to his fans about his distress, and where their money is going.
Even if he gets rich after admitting this, it wouldn't matter. We won.

Every piece of evidence in this thread is more proof of Nancy's incompetence. 5 seconds of research would inform her that the email she got about this was correct and she could easily obtain fuller documentation than the meager records Rochelle and co submitted.

Thing is, he could still spin things and not quite red pill his own paypigs with his admission, like by downplaying the amount he spent. It's Phil, after all, no confession from him is ever the kind that someone with a conscience would give. Even when he's being honest, it's never 100%. He could easily tell them whatever it takes to make it look like his habit wasn't what made it necessary for him to raise money for taxes and whatnot, and whether anyone would believe whatever he says or not, the paypigs would keep feeding the pigroach, and everyone else would keep calling him a pigroach. Same situation we already have.

This is the same guy who combats TIHYDP by doing a literal hand-holding stream, thereby calling an absurd amount of attention to the fact that his level of competency is in direct correlation to the amount of help he gets, and he either has absolutely no idea, or doesn't give a shit because no amount of attempts to burst his bubble with a troll tip is ever going to be properly processed by that fucked up brain of his. That's exactly what it would be like if he admitted to being "TheyCallMeDSP" on WWE Champions. His narrative has already crumbled into dust. No one believes his lies, and, like with any other time that has happened, probably throughout his entire life, he does the same thing over it that he could easily do after a confession: just stick his oddly-shaped head in the sand and ignore it.

@Kosher Dill I'm seriously wondering at what point does everyone else playing the game contact Scopely, pleading with them to post proof of NotDSP actually not being DSP out of sheer desperation to get Nigel to go away finally.
