Yes, but saying it clearly isn't enough. We've been saying it. It's clear we need to retake institutional power where possible or alternatively begin building parallel institutions. To do that we need to put in the kind of hard work I mentioned.
I share your sentiment for optimism about the way the right has been building since 2015, but I don't think the Democrats are "fucked" at all. By hook or by crook, they're "winning" on virtually everything and have been for decades.
Out of the many changes that one isn't too bad since it has both a Democrat and a Republican working on a bipartisan effort to heal racial tension. That's something that should be remembered because it tells us we're all people despite our parties.
It'll fizzle out by the election, unless Trump wins. But more likely than not Trump will make it stop if he wins, seeing as he no longer needs to keep public opinion high enough over 50% to win an election.
The people on the streets won't stop because they unironically get funded by various organizations to keep this up. That said, you can actually trace riots and protests pretty accurately based on weather, and black people don't like the cold. It'll go at this level probably until late August at the very least is my bet.
I doubt they’ll keep the momentum up until November. Also, I predict that there might be a disaster that comes out of this that’s too big to ignore. People are getting radicalized by this, and someone AntiFa and/or BLM related will attempt a massive bombing or shooting. Deloitte is a big 4 accounting firm. It's a decently prestigious post-college job. Based on her major, I'm gonna assume she was working in the consulting division which can be very high power if you do well but also is probably (just an assumption here) more hit-or-miss for career advancement and turnover, especially for non CPA/CFA types, than their tax accounting and auditing divisions.

NPR actually slipped up the other morning when talking about how, and suddenly for no reason, the percentage of young people in new cases has spiked. Someone in the science community, clearly apolitical which was their error, in a telephone convo soundbite casually mentioned "the youth have been cooped up and took the opportunity, going to things like bars or participating in protests." just before it cut off. Makes me wonder if it was a mistake on NPRs part but who are they kidding, they and the rest of the MSM/SM aren't fooling anyone.
