Having personally spoken to Sky years ago. That's one thing that got me about Sky. Hes dramatic, he flails. But he doesnt seem to often lie. He'll say something straight up, and is pretty down to his set core values on things.
This is not me defending this or that or whatever. I've spoken to the dude before back when he was around league and before he got his foot out the door entirely in the FGC, when drama was how he thrived for a bit. You can dislike him for that, but the dude still has a moral compass.

No, I personally agree since I've also spoken to him a number of times in the last few years. Honestly, he seems rather open to a fault & definitely wears his heart on his sleeves. He's also incredibly sensitive and I think for those who are more reclusive when it comes to emotional expression, it tends to rub them the wrong way. I don't blame those who don't like him but I honestly have no beef with the guy.

Sky is nothing but reactions. But you're right, in a world full of artists who need SSRIs to even show a minor bit of empathy; and Sky being nothing but an empath to these sociopaths? Fuck he cant really take a win from any of this. I feel for Sky right now cause this is gonna suck for him mentally cause he'll be the one doing the viscera clean up, like always.
I just hope he keeps his head screwed on better than he has in the past and knows; this ain't his job to babysit mentally stunted adults who fucked up.

There’s a lot of twitter squealing about the evils of “cancel culture”. But the Smashers who are being twitter dragged right now aren’t being dragged for blackface, or saying faggot, or WrongThink (tm).
They are being dragged for fucking kids.
That‘s not ‘cancel culture comes to Smash’, that’s ‘the Smash scene and tourneys have a problem with the safety of minors there’. That’s an actual issue that the community and tourney organisers can and should address.
If the Smash culture regularly involves getting 14 and 15 year olds wasted in hotel rooms and fucking them, the culture has an actual problem. Not a “SJW woke“ problem, but an actual problem. This is a game that even now is marketed to kids. If the tourneys are a meet-up for a drunken fuck fest, that’s cool with me, but either minors need to be barred from entry or required to attend with a parent or guardian. And I mean a real guardian, not their 25 year old Smasher boyfriend.
