theres still hope for people, gun ownership is soaring and all the youtube comments, which iirc outnumber the tweets rn, are all in support of the couple with even a minority on twitter saying the charges are bs, but america as it is now is untenable. this system is shown to be unable to survive a minority enclave being hostile and props up the filth we see in the media today, i have plenty of hope just not for the current american idea or the people here ever having as vast and wealthy a nation after something goes down to transform it.

im also hopeful because these morons are giving themselves corona and arguing with us that they arent, ending their own lives to pwn the racists in internet arguments and getting themselves fired despite having all the advantages also gives me hope. so in short im less doom and gloom about humanity just not hopeful that the current era of relative american prosperity and power or the current ideas we have as a culture will survive

Ya know, for all the talk about abolishing racism and promoting tolerance, I've become far more racist and intolerant over the past month. I'm not pissed at black people (they can't help it, so I'm told), but the white asswipes who coddle these people and bully everyone into submission. Fuck them, they deserve to be branded as traitors.

It is an infantilizing statement. You have to remember that Black Lives Matter is a movement designed to make white liberals feel good about themselves, not to give any meaningful support to poor black communities.
