Americans view Spaniards as white but not non-Castizo Hispanics (you wouldn't either). Castizo Hispanics tend to identify as non-White because it confers privilege like affirmative action and the corporate race shield but are still considered white (except for when it's time to receive those privileges or activate the race shield) by Whites and Blacks which further complicates matters.

I don't think it is true that most Black Americans have more in common with a White American than say an Englishman or Australian. I wish that were the case, but it sure doesn't seem like it. I do think that's probably true for most Hispanic Americans (citizens), African immigrant Americans, Indian Americans, and Semitic Americans. You don't realize how huge the Black/White racial divide can get here, particularly between the ghetto and the suburbs or country.

Well my example I used was actually Turkish people (White) vs. American White for the showing that cultural gulfs are often larger than skin pigment gulfs. I could throw in a bunch of others to justify that often as well. Russian, Ukranian, Chechyn, Polish, Basque... I can go on. I'm moderately well travelled and all of these groups are more culturally different to White Americans than White Americans are from African Americans. And whilst Americans will think these people aren't "White", that's the very issue I'm challenging on which is the conflation of culture with race because physically, which is what defines race, they are. I agree, there's a specific sub-culture in America of the African Americans. But even there that sub-culture doesn't align that well along racial lines as there are a tonne of African American people who DO have more more in common with Middle Class White people than they do with those on the other side of that divide you refer to. Because they themselves are Middle Class. I know - I've met plenty professionally. If you prefer, I could equally flip it around and say that African Americans have far more in common with White Americans than they do with someone of the same skin colour in Nigeria, Ghana or the Congo. The argument is the same and perhaps even clearer than using various White examples of difference in culture trumping difference in skin colour.

Americans define "race" politically. Whether that be Joe Biden declaring you're not Black if you don't vote for him to Asians now starting to be classed as "White" by many on the Left. It's a recipe for disaster. IIRC, the term "White Hispanic" only suddenly exploded when they wanted to make George Zimmerman White. The rest of the world simply does not do this to anything like the same extent. It's not rigorous thinking.

You know, I was thinking about the two [no doubt upstanding, productive citizens] women that got hit last night in Seattle. You always hear on the news about policemen or construction workers getting hit on the interstate, it's actually a big fucking problem and quite common. The cops and road workers are wearing hi-viz reflective gear, they're usually on or near the shoulder of the highway, they've got flashing lights, cones, flares, signs, all kinds of markers that tell you to slow the fuck down and watch out for them. Yet it still fucking happens all the time.

On the other hand, the two women and most of the other people there were NOT on the shoulder of the highway, most of them were wearing black or other dark colors, they had cars parked in the fucking way so a driver would only have one way to get through and if they hit those cars, the driver might've died or at least totaled his car. They were standing in the middle of the fuckin' interstate, dark clothes so they're harder to see, no signs or lights or flares whatsoever, and they're standing there on purpose. They also saw the car coming at a fairly high rate of speed and didn't move quickly enough. I also don't believe the guy behind the wheel meant to hit anyone. Presumably he was traveling somewhere around 60mph. All he probably saw were the vehicles parked on the highway, and he instinctively reacted to get around those cars because if he didn't, he might've been killed. The cars there were the most visible part of the entire setup because they have tail lights and license plates that would reflect his headlights. Additionally he probably couldn't have seen the people BEHIND the cars, nor would he have had time to react appropriately traveling that fast. Really he's quite lucky that he had good enough reaction time to brake and turn around. Additionally I'd say it's a fair assumption for anyone driving a vehicle down the interstate that there won't be [and shouldn't be] pedestrians milling around in the middle of it.

I honestly find it incredibly difficult to fault this guy. I also don't fault him for not stopping. Look at what happened in Provo, look at what's been happening allover the country where people stop and their lives are threatened, they get beaten or their car gets fucked up. Look at Reginald Denny. He stopped for some 'protesters' and was nearly killed. In Provo someone was nearly killed. Maybe it is technically hit-skip or eluding, but if I were in that situation, what am I going to do? I'm certainly not going to stop my car on the interstate for the group of already-angry individuals that I've just pissed off even further by yeeting two of their friends. I'm going to fuckin' drive away until I'm a safe distance away from the morons who probably now want to kill me or beat the fuck out of me, and then stop and wait for the police. Is it really a hit-skip if the individual is under duress? Stopping his car there wouldn't have done any good for him or anyone else, presumably he isn't a trained medic so it's not like he could do anything for the people who just bounced off of his windshield, in my opinion, by accident.

I can't fault him. Obviously it sucks to an extent but you know, if you don't want to be struck by a vehicle, don't stand in the fucking street and especially don't stand in the middle of a god damn interstate highway at night with dark clothes on and absolutely no signal to any oncoming traffic that you're there. If even the people who are prepared for that situation [cops and road workers] and have EVERYTHING working for them get struck, what do you think your odds are?

It's great schadenfreude too that as soon as the incident happened, the people who were moments ago probably screaming: "DEFUND THE POLICE, ACAB, FUCK THE PIGS, WE DON'T NEED THEM!" immediately begin screaming in fear that someone needs to call the police to deal with the situation that they just caused to happen. Then the police arrive and immediately attempt to render aid to individuals who probably hate their guts and want them to lose their jobs. Yet another reminder that the left functions purely on hypocrisy, this intersectional cult is a religion of hypocrisy. They have no real principles, morals or standards and their 'goal' goes right out the fucking window as soon as shit gets tough. All of the principles they supposedly 'stand firm' for are gone the second something bad happens. That part at least is fucking hilarious. They're always blaming someone else for all of their problems and all of the ills of society, then when the shit hits the fan they're begging the people they blame to come and help them.

they firmly belive that the government will always be around to protect and support them
they literally can't conceive of a world where they don't have a well organized justice system and police state to back them up and suppress any backlash that might otherwise form against them

bro you just didn't travel to any average American Black neighborhoods for any extended period of time. You probably mostly interacted with the Blacks who got out or were trying to.

Also, hard not to use Black as a political heuristic when 90+% vote Democrat

Ron DeSantis is Hispanic, but every White American considers him White because he is Castizo. Same with Ted Cruz. Zimmerman doesn't quite make the cut.

I cant watch the speech, so if anyone could compile a list of the people trump has elected to put in the statue garden, I'd appreciate it.

Idk their state's open carry laws, but if it's legal to open carry and they're not hurting anyone, then they're within their rights. As it should be.

I may not agree with their ideology, but the media freaked the fuck out over righties doing this in Virginia and Michigan. I am not about to hold people to different standards, as long as they play by the same rules.
eh dont say they shouldnt be arm but do point out the hypocrist and that by their supposed standards they shouldnt be armed, its not tenable to let yourself be saul alinskyed without pointing out their hypocrisy constantly too

Damn they reaching very far

It's over. They're doing flyovers with a B-52 and Mustangs now. It's pretty cool. I think they're doing other Aircraft through WW2 and on too

No mention of the WW1 is very surprising. There was a US Air Corp in WW1 but it mostly used European aircraft so maybe for nationalism reasons they don't want to bring up history of the country relying on other nations for equipment.

As I've said here before, nothing has pushed me further Right more than the words and actions of the Left.

When I see the Right, I can tell that they have things that they love, care about, and take pride in. The Right, especially those of the more religious Right, at least try to be fair and have the same rules for everyone. The Right, even normiecons, have positive, edifying ideas and are willing to give concessions here and there when reasonable (i.e. the Senate GOP's recent police reform bill, that was promptly rejected by Dems because Orange Man Bad. Also, Rand Paul proposed an end to no-knock raids because of Breonna Taylor's killing in his home state).

Notice how the Left has suddenly stopped using the word "hate" as part of their rhetoric? It's because they know it can be used against them. I look at the Left now, and all I see is hatred, malice, envy, barbarism, loathing, and an irrational desire to destroy and tear down.

We keep using the term "social justice warrior", but these savages don't want justice. They want blood. They want power. What they want is not "justice" because their targets are not the ones responsible for their grievances.

It seems to me that people who build things with their hands tend to skew conservative. There is something more emotionally satisfying about replacing a car battery or building a crib for the baby on the way than writing a 1000 word dissertation on systemic racism.

I wonder what Trump and Melania are talking about. On the Fox Business livestream its aimed at them.

Edit: all the live stream cameras are aimed at Trump and Melania, wtf.
