At least the beard made Quint look goofy and harmless.

Now he looks like he drives around high schools in a van emblazoned with wizards and chicks in chainmail bikinis, leering at all the teenage girls and trying to lure them in the van with promises of free drugs.

Hold up, why is Internet Historian a dogwhistle now? Is it because he clowned on Shia over the He Will Not Divide Us, and because he talked about 4chan pranks? I don't keep with him past what he uploads on YouTube.

Back to Quinton: he should have kept the beard. He looks like a giant caveman baby without it. It's like he goes out of his way to look as unappealing as possible

What get's me is he thinks such a luke warm take is "Poppin" yeah like no shit if the man was sent to the future and saw a bunch of slaves signing poorly thought out revisionist works of his life he'd probably be pissed. Quinton talking about how Pewdiepie should handle the "bad eggs" in his audience, but what I never understood is, why the fuck would Pewdiepie take advice from someone who has to eat microwave lasagna to stay alive and spends money on a sex doll? Seriously, there's always people talking about Pewdiepie and how he should have handled the "controversy" or how he should apologize better and handle his mistakes, or how they try to "cancel" him, who's the one with 100M+ subscribers again?

When you become a millionaire off of YouTube, come back with some advice on how to improve your channel.


Sidenote: Also, I find it very interesting that Quinton will forgive Pewdiepie and say that he's "made mistakes" but will crucify JonTron and constantly talk about how much of a terrible person he is, what's the criteria that decides if someone is a Nazi or "made mistakes"?

Modern day internet leftism (well internet politics in general) is about gaining power and keeping that over people's heads. The moment Jon appologised, he accepted that people who had Quinton's worldview was right morally. To keep their moral superiority, they have to constantly crucify the sinners for past misdeeds. Otherwise Jon would eventually be morally equal to Quinton due to forgiven sins, since Jon is much bigger than Quinton, this would mean that Quinton would have no power over Jon.

Pewdiepie is so big that Quinton (and people with a similar mindset) would have to destroy Pewd's audience before even coming close to having similar power. The act of "forgiveness" is a grasp of power in this case, where pewdiepie lowers his guard and gets rid of his audience, afterwhich Quinton would bring up his sins in order to feel superior to him.

"Nazism" and "mistakes" aren't their literal definition for people like Quinton. They are a means of naming people lesser without being morally judged for it, as the realm of morality is the only place where people like Quinton can convince themselves they are better than others.

That's funny to me, because I've watched all his videos and he's not even all that edgy. Outside of the 4chan history vids, and the Shia series, I can't even recall him doing or saying anything that would be all that controversial. These people really are the biggest buzzkills on the planet if Internet Historian is somehow too edgy for them

Yep, in fact, one of the last things he did before he died was found an organization that went on to abolish slavery in New York not too long after his death. But ya know, Quinton's gotta keep up that ol' all old whities are evil schtick because it's obviously working out so well for him.

Imagine that your way of coping because your YouTube channel is dying is by comparing yourself by current moral standards to people that by all accounts have done far more for society and his (her) tory than you have any hope of achieving.
