This post makes me MOTI because it’s pretty much gaslighting others about the cause. BlackLivesMatter, from its inception, has always been political because it chose to tackle political issues, such as the way law enforcement is used. This is entirely disingenuous. You can’t just claim it isn’t political or too controversial once you start getting flack for it, that’s not how this works.

A giveaway for airshit is when the barrel and furniture have the same degree of specularity. That is, if they reflect in the same way. Polymer frames or furniture and steel with a conversion coating on it catch light differently. It's subtle, but obvious once you know what to look for. Any prop modeler will be able to tell you the same thing.

The FAMAS only had semi-auto sporter variants made for a short time in the 80s so they fetch collector prices now. The HK233/243s were offered for sale but mostly for sport shooters in Europe, they're really hard to import into the US. It's possible some LARPing jogger got their hands on one but not probable, the most likely conclusion is that they're airshit.

A semi auto G36 or FAMAS, even here in the States, are hard to come by and would cost a fortune. ARs and Glocks are the meta Primary/Secondary because they're so common.

Pretty much. This Northside Riders 4 Justice group that organized the protest yesterday makes posts on FB every two years for opportunistic reasons. After being dormant for years, there was a flurry of activity on July 1st, including creating the event.

At best, "all lives matter" is not a movement, and is seen as deflecting from what they perceive to be the problem; if all lives mattered why aren't you doing something about it?
