I think he also wanted to hire some of the xenforo people to handle the migration. They said it would take at least six months and over $100,000 to move his shit heap over the way he wanted.

He should have just moved the users over, archived the old forum, and start fresh.

More insight on the organization of SA as it pertained to writers. For context, Phiz Kalifa is the guy who a) wrote the furry apologia and b) edited someone else's article to 'Lowtax is an abuser'.

Both he and another writer spoke highly of Logan as an editor, though, describing her as energetic and efficacious. She seemed to be able to convince Lowtax to do stuff and that made the machine run more smoothly than not at all.

If the old forum is archived couldnt you just copy in the stat numbers to the migrated accounts and set them as the baseline for that account?

Then again trying to solve a bullshit excuse problem when the real problem is the owner is a lazy thief is pretty useless.

Cosmetic or substantive changes to dying forums and communities usually just makes them die faster by making the audience that's left feel denatured anyway. It doesn't seem like the type of place where you go for any reason other than habbit from what i've seen of the community.

I don't think he's pretending. I think Rich genuinely believes he's going to turn this around and come out on top, and to me that's the most entertaining part of this whole mess.
He was so sure he was going to win from the start that instead of trying to justify himself or find any way to make himself look like less of a jackass he just kept insulting Logan and being this insufferable condescending prick to anyone who dared to even question his innocence. I'm sure some goons would've easily given him the benefit of the doubt (if not just ignored this mess) if he played this any better, but he acted like such an unlikeable asshole everyone on his own website sided with a BPD lunatic cokewhore over him.

Logan is completely unhinged. Since this started she's had meltdowns on facebook on a daily basis and changed her story more times than I can count. She's constantly so out of her mind and hungry for attention we can't trust a word she says, but Lowtax still handled damage control so poorly no one would ever want to defend him, and he completely lost his tugboat because of this.

But Rich still thinks he's going to show us all. In the end he'll be sitting in his McMansion completely alone with his destroyed spine, eating his last box of Goldbelly cookies and shouting about vindication on a dead website where everybody hates him, and then we'll all look really stupid.
